Also Blast doors seem to have trim the same thing? Both seem accessible from action relays.

yeah the new update broke them even the control panel does not show any settings like you would expect

I'm not sure if this happens with every update, but the new contact update is causing the control surfaces to not spawn in when the block is placed, or when a blueprint is spawned.

Is there a way to increase the turning force of these? I've been flying aircraft with aerodynamic physics mods with the drag increased 11x, and yet it barely even tilts the aircraft below 150m/s, so idk what to do to get better turning performance?

not sure if it has been reported yet but if you apply an armor texture to the blocks the actual surfaces themselves take it. However, if you chose no texture (default) they do not change to that. Love how they look though

Apologies if I missed this somewhere, but do these parts also act like lift surfaces if uncontrolled? Or do they only provide differential lift to control a craft?

Did you figure out controlling surfaces that are on subgrids Lynx? Or just the angle of a rotor wing?

Consty is the expert in getting it work like that. I think the subgrid orientation is the key.

Trying to figure out how to make control surfaces work on subgrids. I have a 737-800 jet, and it has slightly tilted wings. These wings have to be on hinges, so the surfaces become subgridded. Any chance to get them working?

Hello, these work great on my small block planes. Cant get them to convert to my big block shuttle I am building. Any suggestions?

Can you make like tag so only block with this tag can use this blocks.
I seen many mods that use tags in block name.

Mod does not read from the cockpit but from the movement indicators attached to a grid.

Short answer, not possible - its a game bug if a cockpit is controlling it when it isnt supposed to.

It is only me or any pilot seat can contol them even if you unclick all Pitch Yaw Roll?
Seems they are not bound to control logic like remote contol block is.
Can you make them limited only to "Master" pilot seat / remote?

Not sure this mod works anymore Ive tried to make planes using these wings but they dont provide and ability to move the direction the craft is moving.

Deleted the file and placed it back to the modlist, crash still occur. I can still use the control surface normally if i weren't specific, but when pasting grids together with them on, leads to crash

They obey the control inputs for the grid, they are not rotors or subgrids.

No, it does not matter where it is in the mod list. As I said, if it isnt fixed try deleting Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2831593561 to force that mod to redownload.

You can also redownload the component mod by deleting Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2831593561 which could be the other source of the issue.

This crash is caused by Mod Definition API not being installed or working properly.
You can manually subscribe and add it to the world here: https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2756894170
However it should be automatically added to your world due to it being a dependency of the mod component.

Hello, Ive recently encountered a problem regarding this mod. whenever I tried snapping the both grid back with the control surfaces, it always leads to crash. Just wondering if anyone have encountered this problem and found a solution

Hi, mod was updated to remove the script and move the script to its own mod. This was done so other modders can create additional control surface blocks and plane parts. From my testing this broke nothing but who knows. Let me know if something breaks.

@DraygoKorvan As posted by XaonGames420 in an earlier comment i am also having issues with ALL dynamic control surfaces fully resetting after i specifically turn off auto configure and then set my settings. This seems to happen even if the server does not restart or the player re-logs. It may be triggered with the grid resetting after reloading from a distance. I will report more information as i come across it.

When the settings remain for a time everything works amazingly!!!
