And after checking, the chip on projectile is not "ridiculous". It's quite weak. Maybe you didn't have a relative stat to scale it to.

While the proj aren't always destroyable like before instead of only when inactive - which are only the case for the Line slash and Stationary - But they are inactive for a whole 20 frames.
Whether free toggle is use or not each projectile take 2 turns of charging then firing, that doesnt account that the they another 2 turns to become active. The idea that their projectiles are that much seems to not be a correct lens when stuffs in vanilla exist and accessible - Cowboy bullet string and foresight explosion is a parralel. Both of them are relieve by pushblock or rolling if roll options isn't covered. And we didn't talk about Wizard.
(next)
Bring back destructible projectiles so that there is at least SOME counterplay to the spam besides "Hold block and pray they don't use cuttingboard to gapclose into free damage".
Jab need charged Cook beforehand to use, do 180 dmg only as starter, and it scale combo many times.
Funny thing is, both of that is apparent if the move is simply used again in combo and you'd see it doesn't do much damage - or just glance at the DI wheel and see the number jacked above 2x from first hit. Unless you did saw but none of that mean anything to you - then you are a fool.
However, I do acknowledge the effort to come to steam page and complain about such nothing burger and conclude that the character is worse base on that. Tho I'd advice you to divert that effort into learning the game.
