So this mod breaks early hardmode progression for calamity because when I beat the first mech boss which was the twins it spawned the tier 2 hardmode ores but a solar eclipse wont happen and the moss hornets wont drop tattered bee wings. However, when I beat the second mech boss which was the destroyer it for some reason spawned the tier 2 ores again but this time allowed the solar eclipse to happen and moss hornets to drop tattered bee wings. I have killed the other mech bosses such as the brain, the bee, and the deer but nothing happened. I really don't want to go fighting the brimstone elemental and skeletron prime with only tier 2 hardmode ore armor...

if you count queen slime as a mech she'd probably go in between caretaker and terminator

with the new prime rework in mind, here's my ranking of the mech bosses from top to bottom easiest to hardest (keep in mind i fought them in expert mode)

6. st4-sys
5. caretaker
4. terminator
3. the destroyer
2. the twins
1. skeletron prime

would go more in-depth but steam has a character limit for sooome reason
not including siege machine because i havent gotten that far yet

natural spawns still spawn during the day when Bosses are fightable during the day is disabled

infernum is dead and wont support higher calamity updates so support is probably not coming,

considering infernum wont even support its coremod, and also wont uncalamity itself so it works without calamity, why should mech bosses support it?

There's an odd incompatibility with Vanilla Bosses Rework, even if you disable the mechs rework from this mod, the mech bosses from that mod just dont work (or softlock the game) if you have this enabled, you have to disable this mod. The EOC rework from that mod also doesnt do its charges attack correctly if this mod is enabled, I legit dunno why.

Mentioning it here cus the author from that mod doesnt know what really causes it.

depends on the settings you use. Old AI is overriden by infernum, for new AI, only skeletron prime is compatible

Where it says "only Terminator has Infernum AI" does it mean that the original three mechs' reworked versions don't work with Infernum any more?

if you picked crimson then what happened is the destroyer was never made.


Cthulhu regained his brain eyes and skull but the mechanic was freed before she could fashion a mechanical spine for the old one, this prevented him from gaining a full physical body.

so all in all if you pick crimson it just swaps which mechanical organ Cthulhu was deprived of, preventing his full return, if its crimson its his spine whereas if its corruption its his brain.

Skeletron Prime still not working, he cannot be defeated and drops no bag at 0 HP. Also weirdly the destroyer spawns for a second and then disappears.

There are bugs with this mod, with the Fargo Souls mod in Eternity mode you can fight with the Fargo mod version, and with the version of your mod, the Mech Rework one, also when you increase the health of the bosses the destroyer spawns with half of its maximum life, I hope you can solve this thanks

Had some issues with bosses failing to die on linux but turning off death animations fixed it

tbf its a miracle revegeance even has support, you know how many devs add revegeance support for a mod that has literally nothing to do with it? 1, only 1 dev.

if your on master turn revegance off like you should. (but tbf even on expert its better off IMO for the reason below.)

(revegeance ai for vanilla bosses is absolutely terrible anyways.)

@SLAYER calamity master death mode is incompatible rn, not sure when I'll go around to fixing it because that is purposely broken (both code wise and balancing wise)

If anyone is struggling with the bosses getting to one hp then exploding forever, turn off the boss death animations in the config.

There's a small bug regarding Skeletron Prime. When I defeat him, a mechanical destroyer automatically appears out of nowhere and crashes to the ground, revealing the red twin. But from there, he doesn't give me Skeletron Prime's treasure bag. Note: I have Calamity Master Mode active along with Revenge Mode, which includes Thorium. :spiffo:

the interaction between calamity and the original mechanical trio seems to no be working for both skeletron and the destroyers, I would gladly apreciate manly for the destroyer ai to be incorporated long side calamity as it is my favorite take on a rework for it up to now. Also the destroyer has some bugs with hp boss scaling health mods as it increases it's max hp but spawns with it's current hp as it hasn't been increased.

I still find the new Destroyer way too aggressive for my liking - I get hit too easily by it.

It forced me to revert back to old rework which has a very buggy despawn where it goes to spawn, hangs around and goes bacak for another attempt.

Really psyched to try this out in my eternity infernum play through after finding out it adds attacks for both. Quick question though: do the new bosses contribute to calamity's alternate mech boss progression for ores and hallowed bars?
