@Ruby Rose: in real life you still have to use earplugs while shooting a 12.7mm subsonic round even with suppressor! This is no a Movie like John Wick.

Subsonic eliminate the crack but it heavily cuts through air.A subsonic round can easily traced back to its origin. A supersonic crack is louder but its origin less traceable. So it’s a trade off.

A suppressor, barely makes a weapon quieter. You can still hear the shot “report” from a standard AR-15 type 5.56 NATO 1km away!
Its only purpose is to eliminate the flash completely, and to shift the Shooting sound to a lower Frequency. A lower frequency is harder to trace back to its origin (play 30hz sin wave on a good Subwoofer and let a random person with closed eyes point to the origin, the Subwoofer…impossible!).

is the ASP KIR meant to be loud with this mod? It makes normal suppressor firing sounds when firing up close, but it's meant to be subsonic and dead quiet.

@PanSeba - While I can not speak directly for LJH, I can tell you what he did with the original mod. In the end, pretty much all default sounds were replaced.

As LJH does superior work, I can say with the 'greatest confidence', that in the end, pretty much all default sounds will be 'replaced/adjusted' as he did in his original mod, which still works...I use it till this one is finished.

KEEP YOUR OLD VERSIONS BEFORE UPDATING! (backup/zip up/etc.)

I do this for things such as CBA. It breaks? I put back the old version and I am off and running while others have to wait DAYS sometimes for fixes.


And so what if he charges? It is NOT HIS JOB TO KEEP BACKUPS FOR YOU!

Do not like it? Make you own, use some other sound mod, or just use nothing.


NO ONE MADE YOU USE THIS MOD!


And I see your GRATITUDE for what he has done too...WE ALL HAVE SEEN IT.


I think 'Sir Karen' is much more appropriate name myself than 'other names'...
