描述
Description

This mod basically combines the mods Skilled Stonecutting and Bulk Stonecutting. Additionally, it adds a few settings.

Features

  • Adds bulk recipes for stonecutting: 3 chunks at once = 60 stone blocks
  • Gain XP again, the amount can be adjusted
  • Change the required amount of work, separately adjustable for single and bulk bills
  • Select the used skill: Artistic, Construction or Crafting

FAQ

Can this mod be safely added and removed at any time?

This mod can be added at any time. Removing this mod should only result in a one-time error message and the loss of any set stonecutting bulk bills. Just to be on the safe side, it is advised to create a separate save game.

Is it safe to replace Skilled Stonecutting and/or Bulk Stonecutting with this mod?

Yes, it is, but you will get a one-time error message when loading an old save with Bulk Stonecutting and lose all saved stonecutting bulk bills (as I stuck to the original RimWorld naming rules), which will have to be re-created again. You should also create a separate save game, just to be on the safe side.

Does this mod work with stonecutting workbenches from other mods, such as the one from Vanilla Expanded?

Yes, it does. As long as the other mod defines a workbench as TableStonecutter, the set work amount and learning xp should be used, and the bulk recipes should show up.

I only get 20 stone blocks using the 'Make any stone blocks x3' recipe.

The reason for this is probably another mod, such as 'Stackable Chunks'.

If you're after a more immersive solution, I would suggest a mod like Deep Storage.

As an alternative, you can also just use the specific recipes, such as 'Make sandstone blocks x3', which will still give you 60 stone blocks.

Hey i just wanted to give little update, so far there are no problems even on another recently created save so looks like it was one time problem for some unknown to me reason. I want to apologize for thinking that your mod had something to do with said problem, have a nice day.

I've just uploaded v1.12.0 with the following changes:

- Added support for the mod GlitterStone
- Added support for the mod Medieval Overhaul
- Added missing recipes for mods [K]Extra Stone and [K]Extra Stone (Cupro)
- Renamed label "obsidian" to "schorl" to match naming in mods [K]Extra Stone and [K]Extra Stone (Cupro) (only RimWorld v1.6)
- Adopted to new naming of various stone types in mod [K]Extra Stone (Cupro) (only RimWorld v1.6)

alright will do, sadly i had to restart game few times to get back to mods i had on that save since i added few later

If you haven't started the game more than once today, there is also a "Player-prev.log" (from the previous start-up) which might still provide more details regarding your problem.

Otherwise, your provided log looks mostly fine, nothing I would worry about. Also, the warnings in your screenshot are okay. You could fix the key-binding issues, of course.

If the situation occurs again, do the same you just did (providing screenshot / log-file). That way, I may be able to help you.

So i woke up today and proceeded to see if adding mod back while loading save where lag spikes were present will still occur... and for some reason there are no lag spikes (i tried relaunching game when i had this problem and it did nothing)...

now i am unsure what is even going on. I will add it back to my main save and if lags gonna come back i'll send debug log and player log second time.

It sounds like there is something called again and again, which causes the lag in your game. Perhaps there are lots of the same messages in the log. If that's the case, also upload the log file for me to check it.

This mod is mainly an XML mod. I only use some code to change the used skill and display the options. For that reason, it is unlikely that this mod is the source of your problems. But perhaps I can help you find the cause for it.

If you go into the RimWorld options, under the "General" tab, enable the "Development mode". Now, within the game, you've got a new row of icons at the top of the screen. Press the left one, which should open the "Debug log". Check whether there are any yellow or red messages in there.

Also, under the "General" tab in the options, there is an "Open" button next to "Log file folder". Click the button, which should bring up an explorer window (if you're using Windows). Open the file "Player.log" in a text editor. Check for any errors / exceptions there. If there are, upload the file somewhere so I can check it.

Sorry i do not remember. As i said i do not know anything about modding/troubleshooting side of the game so i am not claiming anything, just saying what experience i had while your mod was in my game, after removing it gameplay went back to being smooth so that's why i wrote it here.

I will try tomorrow and see if there gonna be any error messages. have a nice day/night.

I don't really understand how your screenshot supports your claim that this mod is responsible for the lag in your game.

Did you check the warnings / error messages in game or the log? Are there any exceptions?

For some reason this mod (proably) made my game lag every half a second (even when game was paused) because of large amount of stone chunks on map.
What made it weirder was lack of lag until that point of game (day 39 colony), maybe because i lacked stonecutting research but in that case removing stonecutting station should stop lag but it didn't.
