Ideas for coast maps (Highway 17 and Sand Traps)
Leave your ideas for these maps, what you want to see and where, so I can have those maps ready.

I find it difficult to decorate them because they are very large maps, unlike the other maps.

maybe during the start in sandtraps you could make a combine or rebel outpost and thats why there would be a bunch of zombies there

Add two background buildings on map where we need to put off combine force field on train bridge

troops on the four towers on the bridge, and the outpost by the bridge to have APCs elites overwatch and civil protection to ambush theplayer.

More apcs to attack parked but will attack Gordon at the gasstation outpost. and more elites and overwatch and cps there.

A hunter chopper attackining Odessa outpost along side the gunship. there infact should be two gun ships and hunter choppers maybe an at from the high of combine apcs cps and overwatch and elites attacking the gate of odessa out post alongside hunters.

Maybe some Xen floras in maps
Maybe the port where the crane is could be made into a larger Combine outpost with an APC garage, more posters (maybe even a Breencast that is off?), some gunships in bays (being repaired perhaps, like how you did in Nova Prospekt), and just overall a feeling like that is a semi-important Combine base that we just drive straight thru, which would make the gunship arriving to get Gordon make a bit more sense if he just went thru a regional supply hub.

Should have alot elite ad overwatch soliders as no way the combine would be keeping to little garrsion to defend such an outpost then.

Not neccessarily. The Combine are basically hunting Gordon at that point. They are likely pulling soldiers from all over to locate him. Not to mention that the Combine often don't care about places like that outpost. They are alright with letting entire stations falling so long as that station cannot be retaken by rebels.
We finally see what happens if Gordon stops during the coast chapters when he puts the buggy away and a gunship and numerous dropships carrying soldiers arive before completly leveled the area in search of Gordon.

Gordon was on the run throughout Highway-17 and Sandtraps, Nova Prospekt is the turning point of the game and story. Plus being hit with a new enemy variant of the soldiers already is too quick imo

yeah well i feel the early part of the game is even on hard mod is easy and has to few enemies and since Gordon freeman is known to have retrun the combine under orders of dr breen would hold nothing back they come down on every known rebel outpost and base possible and throw everything even hunters to try and find Gordon Freeman and root any chance of any hoolds out for him. Plus combine held bases would be on high alert for Freeeman including after he started hitting there forces at the first outpost.
this is my opion of couse and because I want more enemies to fight.
