Should have alot elite ad overwatch soliders as no way the combine would be keeping to little garrsion to defend such an outpost then.
Not neccessarily. The Combine are basically hunting Gordon at that point. They are likely pulling soldiers from all over to locate him. Not to mention that the Combine often don't care about places like that outpost. They are alright with letting entire stations falling so long as that station cannot be retaken by rebels.
Gordon was on the run throughout Highway-17 and Sandtraps, Nova Prospekt is the turning point of the game and story. Plus being hit with a new enemy variant of the soldiers already is too quick imo
this is my opion of couse and because I want more enemies to fight.
