To add to the problems, some developers who attempted to use [wOS] reported that it was too confusing, so I guess I'm not gonna do one anytime soon.
i also said it in the comments but... Okay i hope he has the permission.

I don't know why you wanted it to be reuploaded when there was already a garrysmods.org download. Easy access?
anim_biker_first.ani
anim_biker_second.ani
Then we either:
* Include both .ani files in a model so it becomes one full animation pack again.
* Change the model if an animation we want to play is unavailable on the current model.
However, that's just a theory I have.
When I tried recompiling anim_biker with gmod's studiomdl.exe model compiler, it failed due to the animation files having an improper format or something. It's not related to "too many animation files" if you're wondering.
which requires a lot of tweaking because one of them literally has more animations than a CS:GO player model, and thus won't compile properly in Gmod.
Not to mention that the L4D animations can't account for all the default Gmod anims.
For example, sitting in chairs.
So they'd still have to reanimate the missing animations themselves.
But yeah, most likely the proportion trick is the easiest bet to go. You'd still need to adjust the model etc. but that's easier compared to the way above.
However I don't know whether a proportion trick exists in Garry's Mod.
I don't actually have any experience with this stuff, but just sharing what I think people may likely do. So you can't exactly take my word for it.
man i suck at posting while thinking i keep reediting this huge mess
The workshop having more anime is... probably because L4D2 is less popular than it.
Same with MLP stuff, there's all kinds of addons for it mainly because it is mainstream.
