Popis
This is a complete rework of Left 4 Bots (v1). It has pretty much the same functionalities of the V1 but they have been improved, plus some new functionalities have been added.

Please note: the goal of Left 4 Bots has always been to make the survivor bots more human-like, not to turn them into super zombie killing machines.

The addon gives them some functions that the vanilla AI was missing, like defib dead players, scavenge gascans, deadstop special intefected etc, so their combat skills are also improved but they can also fail and fu** things up, sometimes. But isn't this part of the human behavior? :D


What changed?
Almost everything.
The bots are more active while executing the orders, they can attack and shove infected and scavenge items.
The lead order has been completely reworked and it will work on most maps, including finales.
Now you can order each bot to follow another survivor or to go and hold a certain position.
Bots have weapon preferences you can change.
Bots can complete all the official campaigns on their own, look HERE (in The Last Stand campaign you also need this: NavFixes).

What didn't change?
The fact that L4B doesn't replace the vanilla AI, it simply adds some features to it.
L4B can make the bots execute your commands, throw nades, defib dead players and do some other stuff that the vanilla AI can't do (not always successfully though) but for most of the time it's still the vanilla AI controlling the bots, with all its known defects.

I don't know why, but Bill doesn't want to pick up a medkit. And tries to pick up a molotov even though he has one or another throwable and then gets stuck in a throwable pick up loop. Any help?

i think there should be a cfg where the bots prioritize reviving anyone below certain HP (unless theres a tank near), the bots now takes their time until its safe to revive but sometime can lead to your death if well...your near death while downed

Spamming the command work for me at least, so try that. Another option is to crown the witch yourself, but I understand that sort of lock you into using the shotgun. This bug also tend to only happen on expert by the way, which is why I personally play on Advanced. It is also where they can heal in the saferoom too (that one is a deliberate choice by the dev I think), which is more convenient.

oh its not just me thats having the issue damn I wish it would get fixed because it most of the time results in the bot getting incapped or dying if im on expert which is annoying

@xSporez frustrating bug I know. I workaround is spam the Witch command with Ion's Vocalizer. Of course, this also happens if the bot run out of ammo or needed to reload, so there is that.

don't know why but my bots that use shotguns have suddenly stopped crowning witches and instead won't run up to them to crown them even tho auto_crown is set to 1

The only issues I have with this mod is the bots shooting the boomer even when he's close and them stealing your items on the floor as soon as you drop it.

@___Schumacher__ Uh, you prefer them to walk forward and activating the tank without you being prepare?

@DarkZeus0 You could change their preferences in the weapon files and force them to keep minimum number of bile jar and pipe bomb in setting.

@Poolsup (TH) Not sure what you mean by turning it off but you need to either change the weapon file or itemtoavoid to properly remove the T3.

Idk if i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ smth up in the ems but i've redownloaded and rewritten all the stuff and they're still only picking up pistols
