@DarkZeus0 You could change their preferences in the weapon files and force them to keep minimum number of bile jar and pipe bomb in setting.
@Poolsup (TH) Not sure what you mean by turning it off but you need to either change the weapon file or itemtoavoid to properly remove the T3.
Idk if i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ smth up in the ems but i've redownloaded and rewritten all the stuff and they're still only picking up pistols
is it possible to change throwables preferences? i much rather let them use pipe bomb or bile jar instead of molotov, since i usually carry them around instead
example: i was down at the end of D.C finale (before the copper landed) i know the AI can just bolt to the exit, but they pick up the AI and just stare at me still the copper got there, i know there lost of fixes to do but to me this is important to fix not picking me up
in the settings.txt file, disable "T3 ammo bots" or whatever it is called, change it from a "1" to a "0"
- bots randomly breaking and not doing anything
- bots not activating their "leading" path-finding sometimes in a mission and just standing still until you cancel it and you lead them or until you progress to certain spots in the map
- bots sometimes leading, but having to "fall back" to a previous "marked" spot that the creator made on the map just for the bots to continue (the spot can sometimes be halfway back)
- bots sometimes not pathfinding through doors, even though the navmesh clearly indicates they can (such as Dead Center Gun Store, they won't path find out of the gun store after Whiteker is done talking even if you tell them "with you", so you have to manually lead them close to the cola store before their ai automotion leading decides to lead again, no idea why this is but this happens on a few other spots on some maps as well)
3) Just now in Dark Carnival, I got a tank right outside the saferoom in the tunnel of love. I ran into the saferoom and so did the bots. Tank broke the door and got in. After we killed him, bots couldn't get out. Commands (wait, let's go, lead) didn't work. I assume it's because they only leave the saferoom after the player open the door and since there is no door they assume I'm still in the saferoom? But this doesn't explain why they are standing completely still and don't pick up the medkits like they usually do. Sadly had to restart the whole campaign even though was pretty proud of myself for not taking a single hit of damage up to that point :(
After playing with this for a while I for sure like it, but it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating when the bots just stop working for unknown reason. Happened a few times already:
1) In No Mercy I died in the sewers. Instead of running forward and ending the map, bots ran way back to the gas station and waited there forever. Had no option but to restart.
2) In a custom map, I opened a door into a loot room. Bots couldn't get in no matter what, so I pushed one in. He couldn't get out, I pushed him out. He stopped altogether so I abandoned him and went forward only to notice two other bots were broken too. They didn't pick up stuff, didn't interact with anything. But at least they were shooting, I guess...
With over 200,000 subscribers, is my bot the only one that stays true to itself in the flames and swims through acid? Has no one else seen a bot charge into a fire to rescue a teammate?
It's a shame because it has some pretty cool features like passing you throwables and listening to commands, but they're so clunky and rarely attempt to help or get to you.

Next time I spawn I die, game ends from then on. Why?
