@Hame Chronos is the personification of time in Greek mythology.

yes I stole that from google, but point being that it's unlikely that the creator of the mod intended it to be a reference to KZ given that the way chronos actually works in the lore.. I think the creator of the mod just named it after the greek mythic itself, but ja i suppose it'd be neat if it was a reference.

Heya. Um... can you enable the ability go get achievements with Chronos please?!

Cause, the achievements crashing the game thing is no longer a problem and this character surely can motivate the players to get the "Zip" achievement.

he is cute but this thing of race against the clock is pretty useless.. i wish he can have like explosion power rainbow or sonthing because of the horn :steamhappy:

In retrospect the game has many designs issues (even ed admitted that the game is flawed in its current state) and both of the dlc's did not help in that regard, especially afterbirth+ with its rushed and halfassed features. It mostly comes down to the fact that most of the game design is based on a small and broken flash game, and if you would want to make it truly good you would have to remake almost all the mechanics from scratch.

Im not suprised you got turned off by the documentation, the api in general is very limited and its almost improssible to do anything big or good with it (or at least as good as antibirth was).

Anyway thanks for understanding and I hope you find success in game development.

I completely understand. Half-assed modding support certainly ruins the fun in it. As a game developer myself, I know how hard the balancing act can be, especially for a game that's designed to be hard. And frankly I even find some of the Vanilla items not just completely lazy (considering there are how many items that do nothing but increase player hearts? 5?), but also contributing to shifting the general player potential towards the negative. I've looked into modding TBoI myself, but found learning it way too cumbersome just from the lack of documentation at the time.

Hope you found something more entertaining in the meantime. ;)

hey kitty, yeah he his underpowered. it was very diffuclt to balance him because the range of items you can get in the game is so large its almost impossible to compensate and predict what wil the power level of the player will be, your suggestion sounds interesting andi probably couldve done him better if i made him today but me and many other modders lost motivation because lack of modding support from nicalis so i dont really feel like going back to this mod, sorry

I find this character majorly underpowered/unbalanced in its raw form. If just the counter would reset to 2:30 minutes at the start of each floor, that would already greatly ease the early game. With the low starting damage and a little bit of bad luck, most runs are doomed to fail before they even started.

Just a quick feedback from my side. ;) Might tweak the lua for my purposes, hue hue hue.

I love this character but if I may can you give him stopwatch to start? it is what I have been doing and I have to say it fits the character amazingly. I considered giving him the hour glass to start as well.
