This modifies functionality slightly. I'm no animator, so it just uses your animation. The lua is adjusted to allow for interact to use (sit), turning the water off again as you get out. When wired up, it still just sprays endlessly.

I also made a mod that forces NPCs to be inflicted with the same Nude status that players get by using such furniture.

I think this is a nice mod, but I was really expecting a "usable" shower, like a vertical "bed" (like the floran wooden cage or the prison force cell) so NPCs stand there to shower. If you're still maintaining this, would it be too much to ask for a furniture version like that?

Differences in how scripts work. I'm not interested in making it compatible, but if someone else wants to make a compatibility patch, they can.

I'll take a look when I can, see if I can find anything. I haven't heard anything about an issue like that before, it might be something on your server's side, but I'll look all the same.

To be more accurate, this happened in my dedicated server. Haven't tried to replicate the bug in single player, so I don't know if it will happen there.

In 1.4 if I subscribe only to this mod and no other, the game always crashes when I go - or anyone else with this mod goes - to the Peacekeeper Station.

The changes made would be server-side. The object itself is modified to produce a particle effect.

Does this change things client-side or server-side? Just wanna make sure it won't crash the server I play on

How does this conflict with FU?

That seems really odd to me. I know FU taps into a lot of things, but this is just.... weird.
Am i missing something?

Which is one reason why I won't be adding FU support to any of my mods. I'm just not interested in it, and since I play with friends who don't always have the same mods I always use I refuse to install something that will permanently alter my save file.

If anyone wants to write their own FU patch for any of my mods, feel free. Just credit me and link back to the original.

Frankly, everything that isn't Frackin' Universe is incompatible with it, unless the mod author gets strongarmed to make it compatible via a patch or to include it in the FU project itself. I always feel so bad for mod authors whenever anyone uses overhaul mods because they're never good. I've been with gaming for decades and I've never seen an overhaul mod that's beneficial. Not once.

Small and modular is the way to go, that's why I'd always redirect people away from FU and toward Workshop collections instead.

An error log would still be helpful, though. Just to confirm.

I don't use FU, and none of my mods have been tested in it nor designed to work with it. That's probably it.

The problem only occurred in multiplayer-- in single player, the ships and worlds were fine. I'll try to get a log by recreating the error soon. If it wasn't this item, no clue what else it could have been. My ship would not load, and I tried everything I could, and when I deleted the prison shower onboard, it was able to work again. But a prison shower back, and it wouldn't load again. Recreated the issue on a brand new character's ship, and that's when I deleted the 'working' mods (bath and shower). Perhaps it was a conflict with FU or some other fix mod.

@Paxseko I just spawned one in to check, and it works perfectly fine for me. No errors or anything. I'm not sure your problem was caused by this mod, but in case it is, I would need to see a crash log in order to help fix it.

Oh, that shouldn't be there. That's just something Mac OS uses for file indexing. It does nothing, will be skipped when loading, and can safely be deleted. I'll go ahead and try to remove it from the upload, though.

i have the game freezing as i use the Pixel Printer, but i also have a lot of mods, so you'll beable to do nothing to fix the freezing, i know. the more mods a player uses that the Pixel Printer can use, the more things it can get you and the more things it shows, the more the game is going to be freezing.

if you wish to stop the Pixel Printer freezing the game, you can use less mods, or live with it, the game is just working very hard is all.

Exactly. As far as I am aware, the Pixel Printer has to search the entire game folder, mods included, for recipes each time it is used. If it is freezing multiple times as you browse through recipes instead of loading them all at the start, that's odd, but it wouldn't be a problem caused by this mod. It's also worth mentioning that I have installed nearly all of my own mods (all except the alternate versions that would conflict with the main versions) and I get no such freezing. If anyone else has this issue, though, please let me know.

no and the Pixel Printer holds a lot. each time you use it, it has to open the HUD and find the things you can get at it, and then it has to show them in the right spots in the HUD. the Pixel Printer also works with mods, uping it's work, so it has more to do. you'll get no fix for the Pixel Printer from a modder, as it is the game's data alone, it can just add mod things to itself.

You can wear whatever you want while showering. All the item does is spray water; you have to stand under it yourself.
