well speaking of the amonia if ya ever feel like returning to fix a minor bug its id seam to conflict with the landable gas guiants mod V2 and replace what its ment to have with amonia. but lose random thought of but i have no idea how i would make its ID fit to my mod pile given the number of mods i use. as i really do want to use this with the gas guiants mod.

This seems to be the only way to color the tents and cushions. I have no idea what the coloriser in triage does, but it doesn't seem to work at all.

Fortunately, I never made the liquid ammonia actually craftable so it hasn't been available to the majority of people, so there is definitely room to fix ID values and then implement it.

The Liquid ID matching FU in the first place, is very likely a mistake on our part long ago - as we didn't check the FU ID repository prior to implementing ID values.

If you'd like me to update to a new value, I'll make sure to check Elithian Races & Frackin Universe IDs and set something that's compatible with both of those, but please make the change locally if you have further issues after that change (might be preferable to make a local change to begin with!)

On a side note, I'm glad that FU is overriding Liquid Ammonia with Refined Mech Fuel and not the other way round, as that would've had greater implications on players.

No, this isn't intentional behaviour, and is a problem with FU.

Having recently just looked into the Frackin Universe github page: https://github.com/sayterdarkwynd/FrackinUniverse/blob/master/liquids/mechfuel.liquid

I have noticed that a Liquid ID of 20 is used for Refined Mech Fuel which is the same as Liquid Ammonia's ID. This means that FU is overriding the placement of Liquid Ammonia with Refined Mech Fuel.

This is significant because Starbound has a limited Liquid ID list of up to 255, meaning you can only have a maximum of 255 different liquids in the game, which is including the vanilla ones.

If I change the current value to be compatible with FU, it might possibly break another mod that uses a different ID.

You're welcome to change the ID locally though! (\Avali-colored-Items\liquids\ammonia.liquid) and change "liquidId" : 20, to a different value. Feel free to experiment!

I'm unsure if you're still active with this mod, but I encountered an odd, but unharmful situation. Is the liquid ammonia supposed to become "refined mech fuel" when placed, or is this an odd glitch I'm experiencing? Before being placed it's still liquid ammonia, but after placing it immediately turns yellow and becomes the fuel. Is this intentional? Is FU to blame or something else? I'm not upset, I just was curious if this was a known thing or just a weird experience.

This mod adds a bit more than just avali colourisation as well, it's responsible for the cloak & sleeve variants I took ages making. :)

(Stalker's Cloak s & f cover etc)

The item ID of the main crafting object is colorizer (with colorizer4 being the old one), and is added to avali.species via a patch file to be added to the crafting menu.

The mod actually also adds liquid ammonia (/spawnitem liquidammonia 1000) and a bottle of ammonia (/spawnitem bottledammonia 1000)

If you do find an issue, please let me know, and I'll see what I can do to fix it. Asking people to uninstall the mod isn't an option due to all the decoratives placed that would disappear from their worlds if they do. :)

Hello Vix. I've had both installed for a while without conflicts, but it's also unlikely we'd have any conflicts. The mod was setup to use separate object files for every coloured object, so shouldn't interfere with the base Avali mod in any way.

Furthermore, removing this mod would remove all of your coloured objects you used from this mod, which would be problematic for people with established builds. :)

It seems it's now part of the base mod, as Avali (triage) Race mod does feature an "Avali Colorizer".
Maybe it should be notified on this mod page as so people don't install it in case it just causes conflicts?

Use the paint tool unlockable for your Matter Manipulator on the saft tapestry blocks. :)

Interesting. Can't really change that now without affecting existing storage other players have, but it's good to know.

For some reason, some of the cargo containers have more storage spaces then others in the crafting menu. Also are there recolours for the soft tapestry blocks?

Hm, I suspect it was a workshop corruption. This happens on mods occasionally, and is always fixed by resubscribing.

Huh, that is weird. I unsubscribed so I could hop back onto my server last night and just now resubscribed to get you that log but it seems the recipes loaded in properly this time! If it happens again for whatever reason I'll let you know. I've not added nor removed anything besides this mod since I originally posted fyi.

Hm, that's odd. You should have access to everything within the colorizer as everything is in the colorizer for me in admin mode.

Both with and without Frackin. Please provide a pastebin with your starbound.log file contents inside, that may help with finding the issue.

The colorizer should never be empty, even with other races.

I just tested with Frackin and it was working just fine with the most up to date version available from Steam.

I'm currently trying to use this mod with FU and there are no recipes in the colorizer whatsoever. Even in admin mode. Is there a currently known conflict with FU and this mod's colorizer? Or am I missing something here?

That said, I won't remove the existing ones, if I do. Probably will give them a rename though (not file wise, as that would be against purpose, but their in-game text would be changed).

Hm. That's a very good point. I didn't make the tapestries, I believe Ferrox did. But they are very different to the avali colour palettes.

I believe the main reason for this is that the other tapestries at the time simply did not exist in the game image files, so we had to make colours up on the spot.

I'm not against the current versions, but.

I can see a reason to make a batch of new ones that fit more with the general colour palette theme to go along with the colours present in the other avali objects.

When looking at the tapestries in the "block" tab of the colorizer, i noticed that they were horrendously off color from the main avali color pallettes. Why is it like that?

You may have to unsubscribe then subscribe again to get the update, as Steam Workshop is very finicky (Can take up to 4 hours for an update to be passed to all clients automatically, something like that).

Im using a lot of mods and it would not be a surprise to me if something touched this mod (But then, what content would another mod want to tweak here? Last time I played this mod seemed fine).

but then last time I used it, I used recoloured tent objects and did not even check the clothing. the instantiate errors are also oddly far away from where the error reports (like halfway down my logs) usually. could be nobody noticed it, but can also just be my setup. Either way if it works for others its not the most critical of things to fix

Yeah, the error is because I'm missing another pixel art entry in the icons.png file. It's expecting two entries to be read, but only one is being read.

This error is quite bizzare, given that the actual item file should only be looking for one portion, not the other. I suspect it reads the other, in order to tell where the :chest is in that line.

Unfortunately, I will not know whether it is actually fixed or not if I implement a patch, due to the game not telling me. I'll just have to assume when I do so (I may just opt to do your method to remove the hassle entirely).

And yeah, not instantiating means the item itself became a PGI (Perfectly Generic Item), which is why I said it was unusual, as that isn't meant to happen, as that makes the items unspawnable.

Funnily enough, if you check bug reports someone already did the same fix you did in order to fix in the meantime (but it wasn't a instantiate error, so I didn't feel like I absolute must fix it at the time).

I had not tried to create the item or checked in game, I simply figured being unable to instantiate would cause a problem. If it works fine I probably just un necessarilly fixed the issue for myself but thats nice to know if it works - im still just setting up my server and going through any errors and patch issues I find and informing some mods where I find them c:

Hm, interesting. While I've been aware of this bug, it does not make the item unable to be created ordinarily. I'm assuming another mod you have installed is causing this error to occur, seeing as those errors do not appear in my installation. That said, I can patch it on my end, and do know what's causing it.

I was not aware it was an issue that would cause the items not to load with some mods, though. I figured conflicting mods would produce an error at the most.

I see a lot of various errors with this mod, and figure you should know. Specifically ones like:

I believe those were examples of hand edited areas, we haven't actually added alternative generation for villages that would include these tapestries. I might look into adding that.

@Yanazake Solution: Keep both mods. And yeah, their coloriser changes things to other registered colours in the .frames file. If purple is not actually listed as an option, then they will come out invisible due to the frame being unable to be read. If you're trying to use the coloriser from the Avali Triage mod on our coloured mod objects, they may have unintended effects because of the .frames file layout. Also it turns out the purple value is not registered on any of our objects, even the actual purple objects - even though said purple objects are purple.

Turns out, Avali Triage mod has no purple value in their .frames files, making purple unusable and unreadable from the Avali Triage mod. They use "pink" as a value instead of "purple" - which is funny considering said "pink" is actually purple in look.

The avali triage mod somehow updated with its own version of the coloriser, sad thing is that for whatever reason i can't use purple for anything. All items with that color come out invisible.

@ProstoLyric Finally fixed! Takes a lot longer to update the mod than I thought. I also fixed an issue to do with the avali colorizer having no X button! :D

@ProstoLyric Huh, sorry I took so long to realise that's the case. You're right, in the avalikitchendrawerspurple.recipe <- the output for some reason is avalikitchendrawersblack instead of avalikitchendrawerspurple <- I'll have to fix this another day.

If you remove this mod, then anything and everything from this mod you placed down will disappear from the world. In any case, the update to Avali (Triage) appears to break nothing. In addition some additions we've made have yet to see themselves on the main mod as far as I'm aware. @Cervus

Shiro unless you can tell mikypoo EXACTLY why it's crashing you need to either send a copy of the log or 'fix' your attitude. The guy can't look at your screen or read your mind, they're a nice fellow and being rude won't help your problem. If you need a hand trying to send your log by all means ask, steam is full of nice people willing to help where they can.

I'm sorry Shiro, but I need a crash log to be able to fix it. The mod itself works perfectly fine on my end, please provide the Starbound.log file using a pastebin link, as I stated 2 comments prior. The Starbound.log file is read by windows as a text document, and is found in the storage folder of your Starbound installation.

@Okaden - Without a starbound.log file submitted to us from http://www.pastebin.com , there is very little we can do. The starbound log file is often recognised by windows as a text file, not sure about mac - it will be present in the storage folder of your Starbound installation.
