Works just fine must be spawned then scanned to show up like everything else in game if it has printable enabled ;)

Very useful for making custom stations without having to input the code into the chat over and over.

I don't think about this as a mod. I think of it as a thing that the devs forgot to put into the game. :D

Yup must be scanned then it will show up in the pixel scanner. This is a vanilla item you can spawn it in too just look it up!

@Hermit, Yes the shield generator protects from everything; weather, weapons, players.

Query: From what I know of SB's block protection, am I right in thinking this would prevent block damage from weather effects too (Like meteor showers, for example)?

If so I might just have to look into dowloading this when I come to make a colony...high-threat planet here we come :)

@KokiriChan you need to use admin cmds /settileprotection 65531 -65535 to false.

I'm having problems with this mod, I've used it on a server and some blocks have bugged on my station... some areas have become not editable (empty areas and walls where the shield was), , and some blocks have become indestructible even with the shield turned off. I destroyed the shield, hoping it would resolve, but without success. i really dont want to do another station how can i fix it? there is any way possible?

@ SiegeStorm, you click sub, then you run the game, Spawn it in on SP or find and scan the sheild gen, then you destory all background blocks (ship/world), then place new background blocks, place sheild gen, connect to power and turn on.

Just created the directorys and copy the 211820 folder over. Thats all you need to do. Then when mods update just copy the whole folder over again. Cheers!

Sure but you will costing your self more work in the end if you don't code your mods into the server ;)

@Torres You guys all have reading issues lol. All blocks even ship blocks must be placed by the player to be protected. I have no issues everyone on my server has no issues. But we know how it works and that it only protects PLAYER placed blocks ;)

Seems to be glitched for me, I build it and sure works and starts protecting a grid but not a a big one (unless it starts powering from small til full shield capacity)

And it also effs up my wiring, I built it next to some frackin universe hydroponics and it disconnects them all, makes the connections disappear...

you need to find and scan it then it will sso in the printer.

so i go to my pixel printer and it dose not show up! i am in a non admin player so how would i get this item? is there a place to scan it? or do i just have to cheat?
