Markus Persson created Minecraft in 2009, but the game was in its Indev (In Development) stage, so it was ready yet. Now, on November 18th 2011, the game was fully released as version 1.0.0 while Digger Online was released on June 2, 2015. For some reason ChatGPT won't give me the creation date of Digger Online.

@Satan, Minecraft is actually just a huge asset flip. You're thinking of the newer version of Digger Online, "Digger Online 2, The Dig Return." The original Digger Online released in 2002, and that's where Minecraft got it's textures, models, etc. They teach these sorts of things in preschool.
