@Blackdragonbird : I noticed the same, and I totally agree with your remark. Next time I'll be ware ;-)
@Max : Some asset sets (for instance UK residence) have an already softened palette of colours, and then this LUT makes them dull brownish (I noticed since Snowfall extention). This LUT has been tuned for the original set of buildings as came with After Dark. So I can see you point. ;-)
@SPACETACKLE, I agree that nights are dark, but not matter which LUT you use, building during night is always annoying. It's too dark to see what you're doing. So I prefered to have beautifull and deep nightlighting, then dull those grey-ish nights. I build with the night/day cycle disabled or time stopped during daytime, and cruise arround in one person with the day/night cycle enabled. This has two advantages: building is easy and clear, and discovering your cities keeps being spectacular with deep nightly colours and vibrant warm sun set or rise lighting
If i just switch it in the content menu to on, it won't work!
Bing! lightbulb moment lol thank you i have not tried this yet. i will look for the options list and try it now, thanks.
Enabling the mod, loading a city and then going back to the main menu did the trick. (Otherwise it would not show up in the options.)
This is embarrassing. :I
Either way. Good job on the mod.
I'll also try to run the mod again, just in case I did something wrong. (Although I don't think so.)
@Vetinari, do you mean that with the latest patch (that came with the new night/day cycles), but without the After Dark DLC, the colors with this color correction are not as they appear on the illustrations? Is that for all climates, or for a specific climate? Do you use a custom map, or a standard map? I like to have some more informatio before I can confirm your observations, and evalulate how to make a vanila version (if needed).
Any chance that we'll get a version for vanilla? Pleeaaasseee?
thx !
Kudos and well done, Yeol!
@Noobich The Kitten, I made expecially for you the CC LUT called "Less Dark Shadows & Less Blinding White". Look it up, try it, and if you like it say so. Otherwise, don't hasite to say what's wrong, and I'll remove the CC LUT, so it wil not clutter this archive any longer.
