Well but can't the default 'not-empty' animation be the l4d animation then? I mean like setting up the no empty animation on the l4d2 animation itself, istead of trying to do both.

Its not in this version because I simply can't do it. L4D2's sequences are not set up to account for empty reloading, on anything besides the pistols.

I would if I could, but I can't.

@chlorine49 I know right no one has done that yet with this shotgun and i think it's the same story with the auto shotgun. NO not the spas, the AUTO shotgun

Rocky can you give the l4d1 pump shotgun's animaion also the same as the chrome shotgun as when the pump shotgun shoot from 8 to 0 but still no change...Can you change it or fix it...Just make the gun hold up to reload when it is out of ammo and it will be more perfect.

@ICouldn'tThinkOfANameSoThisIsIt It looks better when the L4D1 Characters hold them since the L4D2 ones are designed for dumb L4D2 animations.

rocky, you need to make a mod that gives the shotgun more ammo, like the old shotgun. i remember playing l4d2 for this first time and looked at the shotgun ammo and i was really suprised on how much the ammo decreased :l

My favorite weapon out of the whole left 4 dead series, hands down. If only this still had the ludicrous 120 reserve shell count. I miss going out into a level and not refilling ammo until the safe room. Good times, goood times...

The helping hand pistol animation works offline, just not online. I'm assuming this is because L4D2's default pistols (which are still being used server-side) don't have this animation. If that's the case, it's not something that can be fixed.

Great work on this and the auto shotgun.

It's a shame that the solo empty reloads for the pump and auto won't work in L4D2.

But all things considered, this is a win after all these years.

The helping hand pistol animation where the two pistols are in one hand while the other grabs an item needs a fix, its still bugged because the animation doesn't have time to play out it appears.
