And yes, the map was indeed sf_tactical lol, I would rather it be fixed than removed, but no one is playing anyway so dont worry, I got an awesome 2 hour nostalgia fix on my own, building a fort and no clipping to steal the flag when it came to it lol. Oh, that's one physics thing that seemed problematic, was v traps. Instead of slowing you down, 4 out of 5 times it would shoot me through like a rail gun lol. I don't even know why this game isn't played any more, it was huge back in the day and even with minecraft and other 'building' games out now, none really cover what this game did...

Maybe sourceforts 2 will bring it back, although that's been a long time coming with very little to show for it... I think instead of working in secrecy to make a full release as is the trend these days, they could just release it, and continue updating it with community feedback like the good old days of modding. As for the physics, they work pretty well for the most part, my only issue really is when blocks get hooked, and just spring away from the gravity gun without any real warning. I remember the original as making noises and sparks when they were colliding.

@Willium_Bob_Cole Yea, I was hoping that making this would give it a small revival, but unfortunately that didn't happen :( Sorry for the issues. I'm wondering if maybe you were playing on sf_tactical? For some reason that map is screwed up and I ought to just remove it. On the other hand, there's not much I can do about the physics being off, but I did try to get everything as close to the original as I could.

man this was the ♥♥♥♥, why is no one playing any more?? Also, tried playing on my own and A) the physics handles a little differently (although im still nostalgiaing hard), and B) for some reason, the map I am on seems to have build phase and combat phase inverted, making it impossible to capture the flag (even if i AM alone ='[ )

What I wouldn't give for this game mode to be alive today...

@TonToE No problem. I'm glad some people still find use of this. I actually really enjoyed working on it!

Shame the mod is about as dead in Garry's Mod as it is now in the standalone version, but at least I can try to get a group of friends to play this with. Thanks for the upload.

I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of SourceForts back when it was popular, I will see if I can get some friends together and play this.

There were 3 at one point, looks like it's down to one now. If they all go down I'll try to get one up though. It's a shame because I thought more people would be excited about this :/
