Are you referring to something named "ValveBiped.Anim_Attachment" specifically or do you mean the reference.smd used for the proportions override having any attachment bones in it?

Go for it but creating a model from a skeleton doesn't sound like it'll end well. For best results you should modify the skeleton to fit your model

CaptainBigButt, a friend of mine suggested how about trying to make a mod to replace the gnome in L4D with a chibi Vocaloid or this papercraft one? That sounds more doable than the player model thing I had previously suggested.XD

At First i thought it was just a Prop (Which is fine) but then it turned out to be a Player model! lol xD i can mess with my friends one day.

It's not really meant for use in a competitive environment like that, but not all GMod servers are built with shooting people being the goal.

If this model was used in servers wouldn't it give an advantage to the player with this model on? I mean it would be kinda hard to shoot!

Unless everybody decides they don't like her out of nowhere then I doubt her popularity will fade away. As long as Japan likes her as much as they do then she'll also continue recieving more polish than other vocaloids when it comes to her actual program and phonemes which is only going to further her popularity. I doubt people are suddenly going to like another character so much that the content for her surpasses Miku's within the next year and I'm not sure if I'll be modeling long enough to see it actually happen anyway.

The SeeU and IA models were being made, not were already made. IA popped up on facepunch and SeeU was being ported by Rocky. I am not sure what the status is on either of them but I don't want to port a model that is potentially already being ported.

Also, I don't really go for downloads. Seeing people download the content I spend time on is neat but it doesn't really matter all that much to me. This is just something I did in my free time, but I've been losing interest in doing it and even then it was a learning project. I just work on things I find enjoyable, and it's easy for me to experiment with Miku variants since she has such an abundance of content and designs. I just work on stuff I find interesting and even then I've been slowing down rapidly as I lose interest. I don't really care for character variety, just designs or things to experiment with.

What im seeing is to be clear is. I don't see any more new playermodels, its rare I either see fnaf or, Miku. But thats it. But mostly Miku, what im saying is there is WAY, WAY to much Miku. I know shes popular, but give the others credit too. Like make some chibi haku, neru, and all that. Or some other ones, I mean you almost have ever single Miku. And shes only popular, is because thats all people see these days is her. But if you put other ones up, people would then atleast know about them. And I have looked, there are NO Seeu models, or IA ones, the only thing that came up was a song, and a just her with a checkered backround. Plus, you might get more downloads if its new, I saw a couple comments one wasn't surprised it was Miku. And im so tired of seeing the same models, if you make things from another, or animes, or even new volcaloids BESIDE Miku I think you would get alot of hits.

I'm on board with a new character if you have one in mind so long as they actually look interesting, but a handful of models were also already being ported by other people somewhere or another (ie SeeU and IA)
