To that one guy who is really insistent on lasers having recoil, I did the math, the recoil of the large quad deck laser cannon would be 10 times less than that of the standard small cannon.

(Using proposed anti-aircraft laser systems developed by lockheed martin and the 120x570 NATO shell as reference)

its called COMPTON SCATTERING. look it up have a read. and getting all them photon to go in the same direction is silly, so yeah, that turret would flip out of your hand, i mean off the deck mount because, i am extrapolating here, that the amount of power to fire that is really a lot more than what is provided by the "thumbnail". you should really have to do technical schematics and power supply drafts so we could all have a more robust idea of what it is you are selling.

To the guy saying something about the lasers ripping off the ship when fired. I must ask, when you turn a flashlight on does it flip out of your hands? Or when you turn on your computer screen, does it backflip off your desk?

firing that should render the mountings useless as the entirety of the armament flips off the ship.
