Well, the design is based on related materials/biomes (in this case is wood).

wouldn't it make sense if the normal one was gel because its flammable.

Thank you! Well I hadn’t tried to make them with vanilla base. But as you can see from the reflection in the picture, the base will block bottom half of the living fire or I will have to make them a smaller camp fire which might not look as good (I’m just lazy). :)

Will there ever be a version of the living flame inside the normal campfire base? I think i'd look really neat unless you've tried it already and it didn't sit right.
