also you should probably rework the research cost and the material cost for the armors as they are now is way to high and out classed by easier to get items. right now the paladin set take .9 move speed which is more then plate while having almost 10x the cost to make it and stat wise its not to much better then marine. making it a more of a tank set with the cost of high tech gear price wise and research wise.

@The Ductchman i beleive they already are stuffable in that they can me made from diff materials the one i mentioned gives a buff based on what materials you use ie. plasteel would make it stronger than regular steel

Also, Sovereign Protector Armor looks like infantry armor when worn.

I crafted an Infantry Helmet, but it looks like the Paladin Helmet when worn.

@ZawodRoshen I figured it out, the disappeared research was caused by the World tech level mod, I'm playing an old medieval save and had the research ristricted to only medieval. so after I removed the restriction and restarted the save, the research tree appeard finally. Great mod btw. the armor looks dope and can't wait to try it out :greedyHeart:

@CosmicStone That's very strange. There's nothing in the mod that should cause such errors. The mod is written in XML without any C# code, and it shouldn't cause such errors. Try creating a new colony. Maybe your save file is crashed.

For some reason I can not see the research tree for this mod in the research tab. I added the mod last in the load order so that it won't conflict or cause in errors but it still doasn't appear in research tree. even dev mod doesn't spawn anything from this mod. I figured out that the old name of this mod might be the problem so I did a whole removing than adding mods one by again but no!! again nothing from this mod appear in my save.

@Drajen, same for me, never ever haed a black screen and after reboot it resetted my mod list. But I never used this mod before only lordoftherim, but it has been removed so thought I could fill the void with this one.

Nevertheless, same issue.

@Drajen This mod should not conflict with the Loading Progress mod. It did not cause any errors for me
Perhaps your problem is related to incompatibility with other mods

This mod and the Loading Progress mod has some kind of incompability.

When I run them together I get blackscreen while loading. Tried with only dependencies and nothing else and I still get blackscreen.

@DracoHoribilis: that seems to have happened only to you and it is how the game behaves if it detects critical mod conflicts. i usually see it happening if i try to load an old savegame from 1.3 without it's modlist being active (due to most mods being unavailable by now).
if you want to help fix this, do a binary search, deactivate half of your modlist before adding this mod, so you'll immediately know in which 50% of your mods the issue is rooted. repeat that a couple times, at max 12th time you should know for sure what's causing the issue - which you then can report to both modders and see the conflict either disappear, or be told it's impossible to become compatible (which i doubt if it worked out in the past on the very same RW version).

@ZawodRoshen: how big are the chances that the Flanged Mace would be renamed into something as fancy as all the other weapons? i have flanged maces from elsewhere already, gonna be confusing

@masterofgaming22: yes it did, obviously because the naming lead to lots of confusion when being searched for.

@good old jim: i would assume you could fix that by editing all the files back, xml can be opened with win txt editor ;)

@Sumatris: have you ever heard of CharacterEditor? the mod that allows you to do whatever u want with ur pawns? besides of that hint, i totally agree that noncraftable is annoying, but not modding mods is kind of quitting halfway on the "build your own game"-thingy that we got with rimworld - e.g. i will always edit armor layering to make it suit with the other armors i got subbed. makes the whole experionce so much more enjoyable! :3

Ok so i got my save working but a quest is bugged (Had the armor set as a relic) the error persists and the armor is still MIA from research, dev mode everything it gone gone no idea why but my version of the mod doesnt wanna do what do

Is the general issue its giving me, Id post the whole error but the limits 1000 characters. I tried reinstalling the mod too and no dice same error same missing armor.

Any way I could get the old mod back? Ever since the update today its been throwing errors and causing issues. Paladin armor is MIA and it throws an error every time on start up. Really wish Steam would let you pause mod updates... might be the end of my 18 hour save :c

Does this mod require a specific load order? I just added it to my list but it says in the log that it wasn't loaded. I even tried to spawn some items from this mod via dev mod but I couldn't find anything from this mod.

can you change the helmets to be craftable at the smithy instead of the machining table? otherwise the helmets wont be craftable in medieval playthroughs

Not sure if this is intentional but the paladin armor is craftable it only appears to be the chest piece not sure if its a mod conflict of sorts or maybe just missed

Would you consider making this craftable? Part of my RP is my solo pawn makes his own gear (like an artificer or something). I understand if you are not interested, just hoping you might consider it.

@Anyone who took offense at my comment: First of all, I meant "mod creators" of course, not "mod creatures". Secondly, I won't be doing anything about this particular mod. I know my way around Rimworld mod modding, but if the author doesn't want the armor to be craftable, it's not my place to interfere. I simply can't understand why modders put so much time, passion and effort into creating something awesome, only to essentially hide it in a treasure vault and mail the key to some random abandoned village at the ass-end of Siberia instead of just putting it up for sale. Don't they want as many players as possible to appreciate what they've created?
