Lot of dmg types just simply crash when changing color

Huh, those are definitely some unusual bugs, I think I might have missed #4 just because it needs a lot of damage types to have manually set colors to trigger, but I have no clue how I missed #5.

yeah I figured it was by when they're added but they keep shifting around, those radiant ones in the screenshot I sent were consecutively added but they became completely out of order

That's odd, I can't seem to get it to bug, maybe it's system-specific or y'all're doing things I couldn't predict, a video of one or more of the bugs might help me diagnose and fix them.

in general the config menu is really buggy, UI elements get shifted around for no reason

At least they're probably ordered by when they were added, looking at the code I'm not actually 100% sure

As for re-ordering your custom colors, they're ordered by when they were added, I might be able to add in-game re-ordering for them, but you could also just add them in the order you want or manually edit ColoredDamageTypesRedux_ColoredDamageTypesReduxConfig.json to do so.

Enabling interpolation makes it combine colors for damage classes which inherit bonuses from multiple other damage classes (i.e. multiclass weapons) with interpolation disabled, it will pick the color of the highest damage type in the priority order

It is not unusual to not understand error messages, if you could post the full text of the error or your entire client log file here or at https://github.com/Tyfyter/ColoredDamageTypesRedux/issues I could understand the error message and fix the issue.

Alright, so it was just an issue of the default value being overwritten by the defaultest value (0, which is null for reference types) by the config parsing because Dios no permita default values get to be defined in code instead of text in the attribute that's in the code anyway.

@Moonlight Glint deleting the configs and having the mod create new ones seems to fix the crashing just to let yea know as of 1.1.0.2

If the issue persists after v1.1.0.2, report the issue on the tModLoader GitHub repository [github.com], as it would certainly an issue with the functionality of default config values.

nope...tested it still broken for some reason...i even removed all mods and only used yours just to make sure its not a conflict...basically how it happens is when i load the mod i click on single player and then it just crash.

While I can't guarantee it's fixed without finding a way to reproduce the issue, v1.1.0.1 should hopefully fix the issue you're experiencing.

That's odd, I encountered this issue while I was developing the update, but I was certain that I'd fixed it too, it might fix itself just by loading it again, I should be able to make a hotfix for this shortly

You can now customize damage colors from other players separately, and there is now a preset to hide damage numbers (which can be used with the other new feature to easily hide other players' damage numbers)

Ideas like this are why I make sure to implement basically everything in a way that makes it easy to extend, I can actually implement both of those as one option and it should be quick and easy to do so;

In multiplayer having a way to distinct your damage from your friends when you're on the same class would also be nice, but hiding their damage is also a good compromise.
