OMG! I LOVE how it says "You are safe!" instead of "All the survivors are safe!" whenever you're the only player on the team (as in the single player, not like everyone else is dead)

easy version: overload your local server with mods so it crashes on a team wipe.

it would work, it would only count as a game over if it started to play the game over theme and the screen was fading to black, if that doesnt happen, doesn't count as a wipe

does this work for smarter ai mods? like when you die but the bots keep moving to the safe house, does that count as a teamwipe or not?

So what you are saying is that this mode does not work on some, if not most, mutations including custom ones?

If so, that would explain why I can't loose lives when playing on a custom mutation mode I play on called True Veteran. Any how from my end could I get it to work for that mutation again?

I see, no worries, I just edited the code myself and made it work with those mutations.

I have it on my addons folder locally if you ask

I think i made it so that if its any gamemode except coop, realism, and LMOE it doesnt function. I wanted to play holdout and some other mutations with it but it just got in the way and pissed me off.

may go back and tweak it one day

Question, does this work with some mutations? Since I've played Death's door and a Jockey related mutation and it doesn't seem to work. The +1 continue system works, but when all teammates gets wiped, nothing gets printed on the chat when the map is reloaded.

Honestly fits really well with my playstyle. Adds a sort of finality to my playthroughs and encourages not playing so carelessly, yet it's generous enough where it doesn't feel like it's demanding perfection.

im still waiting for a possible update or an alternative version that adds unlimited continues? again, I don't see how dying and restarting the entire campaign is any fun, please remove this awful feature and add unlimited lives already.

1) this is not a mutation, this is a script that applies over standard campaign / realism games
2) see above
3) yes, you would need the server type set to local for it to work, as is the case with any script mod afaik

can you pls make an alt that adds unlimited continues, i get what you were going for with this mod but it makes dying not fun at all and i just kinda want to play the game without getting kicked to the main menu :steamthumbsdown:

The latest update makes it so that you don't lose continues on a maps first level. I'm currently testing it in game and it works as intended

yeah what dwellanator is saying, also on expert only have one continue, and if you die the game uninstalls itself, your computer un-builds itself and then your computer re boxes itself and flies back to the warehouse it came from

i feel like to get a extra continue once you complete a lvl you must not go down once and not use a medkit for the entire lvl seems like a reward of doing that but thats what i think you should do is if your on like expert you only get one continue and you cant get any other continue.

It's even better that it's NOT a mutation. Can be used in co-op. I think being booted back to Chapter 1 of the current campaign would be cooler than be booted back to the lobby, but sides that I love this mod.
