This map (The screenshots, at least) give me real Halo vibes. Bright, green, grassy outside prime for vehicular exploration and dark, mysterious underground areas. Just like Halo

hey i've seen from one of your other maps that you enjoy making megastructures, this is also a clear example of such. if you haven't already, i'd recommend checking out the manga "Blame!", which features just that. maybe you could find some inspiration for future maps.

the navigation of npcs don't seem to work well I was playing map sweepers on this map and the most of the ai wouldn't even move

Right nevermind, the solution was mounting portal.

I've disabled all addons except for this map and I have CS:S and HL2 & Episodes mounted, but I'm getting a ton of missing textures on the cliff-faces and errors where trees should be. Also I've verified my game files. What am I missing?

No, I found out it's the cause of the crash.

is this in reference to the missing textures? I went and downloaded that mod and the original and found they both worked fine for me in terms of the lua loading loop and i screwed around with some custom npc's and i had no crashes or problems.

epic like i said tho it might just be a mod or two messing with the map, me and my friends have a ridiculous amount of addons loaded and havent had issues it could honestly be anything its hard to say

Well i finally got in now, but it required me disabling literally of my addons just to work

I've cleared up all map-conflicting addons and i don't have g-water or anything that's much script heavy however i still am not able to load the map.

i think you may have a addon that conflicts with the map i'd say if you have any mods like g-water that is very script heavy might be giving you grief. Id recommend maybe looking at big mods like that and disabling them and seeing if the map will load. if so, then slowly re-enable your addons checking periodically until the map wont load again. If you check periodically you should be able to find the mod through process of elimination. I would say tho regular maps, npc, and weapon addons should be fine, but id say if u have any mods that affect snpc's besides vj base they might be the culprit.

My guess is that VPK is missing some textures maybe from a texture pack mod or something that messed with those props in particular.

I got half life 2 lost coast and cs source installed and verified integrity and there still missing texture n a few error things

the skybox is black and the sand and water doesn't exist it's just a white field

this map is actually really cool. I like that it has plenty of space to ♥♥♥♥ around in on sandbox style and then also creepy explorable areas that require you to do things to access them (atleast if you aren't no clipping lmao). I wish it was easier to find more maps like this

we need a version without all the creepy stuff made just for sandbox and messing around

I have gwater disabled, but it still insta crashes. I know gwater 2 is like, baked into gmod once you install it, but is there any way to play this map without just uninstalling the whole mod?

just wanted to say I had a great time exploring the map with some folks, reading the newspapers and then doing the secrets!
(we ended up using peoples guides for those but I appreciate that they were realistically possible secrets and not something ultra obscure like other many gmod maps)
