If you really want to give the ASDF tanks in your scenarios, you can use the setobjecttexture command on the Global Mobilization vehicles and link to the generic texture.
\ACM_AAF_2028_core\vehicles\aaf_merdcDigi_pattern_1_1_co.paa
OR for the NPSF
\ACM_AAF_2028_core\vehicles\npsf_amoeba_pattern_1_1_co.paa
This should be a decent stop gap until i decide to work on the mod again.
For information on how to use the command in your scenarios, see:

I also personally find it ridiculous for a very small island nation significantly poorer than Singapore to even operate tanks on any significant scale either. For Phalanx Downfall I chalked it up to the juntas megalomania since dictatorships are quite famous for not making wise spending decisions.
I'll consider additional armoured vehicles for the factions, but not of the tank variety. I was already pulling a stretch with the PT-76 for the NPSF, and that's a fairly balanced vehicle to operate all things considered since it has paper armour and a small cannon.
In the lore description you can even see that they're backed by Russia, so it makes sense that they might adhere to Russian orthodoxy....
