Understood. Are there any functions that can be used to "kill" and create the UI on the fly? I could then work something out mission-wise

@honger yeah, that's a limitation we can't do much with, the save button in-game won't ever save scripted stuff like this. I've never tested it with the mutants mod you might be right on that, not sure it can easily be fixed.

Two things I noticed:
- if you reload a save (and sometimes when restarting mission, normally or from editor), the old state of UI is displayed underneath the "new" one, so stuff and numbers overlap.
- unfortunately does not work with Devourerking's Necroplague.

While I doubt the second thing can be easily rectified, any chance of some serialization/cache tweak for the UI so it's properly deleted upon restart/reload?

that does seem like a bug..? I'd need to look into it more. if you could provide any more info and make a bug report in the discord I will certainly have more of a look at it. I do wonder what it could be because I and others use it just fine regularly without issue? We'd need to see if it's a mod or server issue basically.

Yo Phenosi! I'm currently experiencing an issue with this mod when it comes to hosting a mission.

Basically i have a friend that hosts for me, and while using your mod the server gets completely Desynchronized. It is the mod since we tried multiple times hosting with and without it, and each time he host without it the problem dissapears.

Any feedback on what should we do? Do we simply avoid using it?

Personally I also have no issue setting it globally, Are you sure you are setting it via the 'Server' tab and then checking the boxes on the right of the settings?

I can change things on my end no issue and it sticks, I even have a script that gives different sides, then classnames different armour stats and it works no probs

Reason I'm asking is that when I try to set some changes for a mission, the CBA settings are always reverted. Can't override player's at all.

that depends on how you setup your addon options on your side, although yes; the mod was designed to have one global value being set for lets say armor amount to prevent cheating and other reasons.

Would it be possible to add an armor whitelist array into the CBA options that include certain AI classes to use the armor system? So that certain AI units can be a bit heavier armored than the rest but would keep the standard units from being bullet sponges. Doing it this way instead of using the Zeus modules allows it to be done naturally on more automated missions, if that makes any sense

oh didn't know that, I thought HP Only mode had a different method besides the base game's damage system, because zeus heal modules dont work or the Regen field from Equipment plus also doesnt work. Character HP stays 100 in Zeus, but it changes on HUD

Most likely because there is some kind of soft compat built into anomalies mod or something of the sort, armor system at the end of the day just re-enables base-game damage so that will be the 'most-compatible' of those two.

some mods are working with armor+hp mode but not with the HP only system. For example Diwako's Anomalies mod, anomalies hurt my character when I check from the Zeus my character's HP reduces but doesnt change on HP bar. Default Armor + Health works but not the only HP mod

@Phenosi ah i see, also, does the system give the armor bar to all ai units including enemy or does it only give it to the player or can ai having the armor be configured to be off?

we dont change any armor values. this is simply a magical number that prevents unit from taking damage

Long shot, but does anyone use this RHS, and/or does anyone know if this fixes the unpennable RHS armor?

@Kuro I have done a few attempts at getting it to work with that gamemode and heard no bug reports after that, so I assume it works fine.

Has anyone tested whether there complications with this mod and using Antistasi as with the other mod that does similar too this known as advanced armor plate system it tends to have issues involving Antsistasi

Yeah, it's an extremely demanding task to be asked by everyone to make it work with EVERY other mod, those mods can also add compatible for this. :))

This is a great mod but it doesn't work too well with Lifeline Revive AI. Seems to be overriding the down state and just instantly kills the unit when they reach 0 HP when going down.

Restarting a mission in SP will put you in an unkillable state when mission is successfully restarted.

No problem, it may be a conflict with other mods, but I have so many mods it may be something else.

It's just that when this mod is updated, now that death happens.

I'm sorry if it's been asked before, but is it normal that a player can die, ignoring ACE settings, when armor broken? Originally, you could have the armor system and still ACE health system.

figured out my problem. conflict with kill confirmed mod and its health system, caused server to freak out and player invulnerability to everything except explosives.

Those zombies do scripted health damage to base-game health yeah- so as long as you got armor they probably arent very compatible

@BeezyL5565 Well, that's up to you. But it would be great if one day you could do it. The Improved Melee System is a good mod, but its scripted damage, which ignores any defense and kills even through armor or invulnerability, is annoying.
