For now there are just the actions in the description, no real way to separate them.

And if using the sledgehammer to destroy objects gives fitness or strength xp, it will cause some kind of muscle strain

Is there a way to separate which activities cause muscle strain? Like only chopping down trees or using destroy with a sledgehammer?

This mod was initially made for build 41 and to be as similair to vanilla PZ's exercise system, which also separates everything per exercise. So this is intentional.

Doing it on a per body part basis would be a better idea. But that would require hijacking/replacing the vanilla exercise system, if we want it to work consistently. Which probably is technically possible, but would probably be a lot of work and might require replacing Java files.

And given the developers might still change things, as exercises and the new combate muscle fatigue in 42 currently don't work together properly. I'm currently not going to make major adjustments to this mod. As it might be wasted work depending on what the devs change

I LOVE the concept but i have a question, is it normal or desired that the muscle strains from carrying or melee levels up completely independent from any other exercise? Shouldn't they be relative to the body part rather than the action? or is this not supported in vanilla PZ?

@IIkanus I tested this mod some more in multiplayer and found some fixed some oversights. Moddata isn't automatically shared between players so in multiplayer there were instances where the health panel was trying to use missing data.

For now I just do nothing when the data is missing. As the IndieStone hopefully releases build 42 soon, I'm not going to add new features to this mod until that is released.

So please test if the issue is fixed

Hello! I am using this mod in my Collection and somebody told me that when they have this mod active they can not see their friends health, and can only see that its bandaged (right click thing). Do you think this is a mod conflict issue?

The issue is the pain, the exhaustion was working fine.

I fixed an issue with the IncludeSprinting Sandbox Option giving more exercise fatigue than intended.

I also added extra info the health panel, which could help you with tinkering with the sandbox values

I was thinking how to make this work with much sense, I don't know if it's fisible but something like, all activities give you regulatory and normal loss, but the fatigue only can be gain while you do attacks with at least first exhaustion Moodle. I don't know if it's possible but could work fine.

I have looked into a setting a maximum of generated muscle fatigue or pain. But the muscle fatigue causes pain indirectly, which makes it more difficult to define a maximum in that case.

Every limb with muscle fatigue adds additional pain, so depending on actions taken, you get 2, 4, 6 or 10 locations at once having muscle fatigue. To not be on lvl 4 pain moodle with 10 locations, the cap would have to be really low. And non-combined pain might be negligible in that case.

I think the biggest problem is that the game doesn't provide enough info to know how much muscle fatigue you're building up, and how much you actually have. These things are visible when using debug mode for the most part. So for now I'm looking into ways to provide the player with more info, that way you can at least figure out why things are happening.

Itwiker and retwiker to find good values to have rational fatigue in bodie parts, and fatige effects works quiet right. But pain is too strong all days on level 4. It's possible make some kind of cap on pain generated (no going up 66? Or similar)

Ahhh. Should affect legs (or parts of the leg). Yes shower stomp could be welcome. But still just giving fatigue to legs must be enough. Even practicing sprint get hard to get leg fatigue.

In the code? The same place as all other attacks. The only difference is the used limbs, which are determined in MMA.GetExerciseLimbs

I looked into the animation files and there doesn't seem be any slowdown applied to shove/stomp, like with the weapon attacks.

A mod could change this, but I don't think it's in the scope of this mod specifically.
So I'll look into making another one that does this, because I'd also like to have a feature like that. But it's probably going to take a while before that is done.

I added a small UI thing to inspect the regularity. It's under a button in the Health tab next to the Exercise button called MMA.

@Gladiolus yes, regularity should work the same as with exercises. But there's just currently no way to view the actual number ingame.

Does the Fatigue get less the more I do these things just like when I do a specific training?
So that if I run often I will get less sore over time or will it stay always the same?

good mod, it doesn't proc too quickly with default settings but the intensity is insane. just a day of high activity walking and carrying stuff and my character is in agony from the pain. having experienced such pain in the real world, i have to say, it's really not that bad. it's probably a vanilla issue with the way that pain from exercise fatigue is handled though, i don't think it's a problem with your mod.

cool, far a i tested .75 for uperbody and 2 for running are rasonable values (or relation of values) cose default values is way hard to have fatigue in legs (and i use joggers so for sure the boy is running). This is the mod of the year and really really changed the game for me 10+ barrilete cosmico

@aquelarrefox RunMultiplier affects the run action, which affects both legs (upper and lower parts). Feet are not included just like vanilla exercises

I will look into adding sandbox variables. I can probably add some multipliers quite easily

However as stated in the description, the goal was to bring other actions inline with exercises. I cannot customize parameters of the vanilla exercises. Using custom settings will desync them again.
And lowering the future fatigue increment also beats the point of using this mod.

I updated the mod. Hitting a zombie should now just increment exercise fatigue just once, instead of 2 or 3 times depending on the vanilla xp gain

I have identified a problem where hitting zombies causes more muscle fatigue than intended, as multiple xp procs are going off at the same time. Once this is fixed it should lower the muscle fatigue by 2x or 3x

Needs sandbox options. Its pretty unbalanced in its current state. Doesnt make sense to be in severe pain because you went on a loot run yesterday.

The idea is good, but it would be better if it also gave you fitness/strength experience. As it stands now, it seems like an incomplete mechanic that only adds difficulty without depth.

always thought there should be a mod where you get sore legs and feet from walking long distances in a day even if you dont run and exert yourself, especially if your character pre apocalypse has a sedentary lifestyle.

But I haven't been able to reproduce the issue, so I asked in a DM if you added the mod to an existing server, and if you could send me the entire console log, that would help me
