You're always welcome to dig around this mod's files to fix anything to your liking. Deleting the _stoney anm2 file and _stoney PNG file in the \monsters\afterbirthplus folder should fix this. Hope this helps
brimstone grimace is already a handsome man
Long answer is that brimstone grimaces got an official resprite + re-animation job a few updates back, which that update itself influenced me to make this mod in the first place pretty much, so I don't plan on adding onto them.
It's only sprite edits and changes to animation files, so I wouldn't imagine it having any major impact on performance.
That being said, there might be room to trim some fat away from this mod in case you do encounter lag.

Only the ones shown here are the ones that have been changed. I've never considered changing bomb and quake grimaces since they already look okay and communicate their actions well. They're safe... for now.
does it change quake and bomb grimaces as well?
