Can confirm, glad to finally complete the tutorial after temporarily disabling this mod.

.... iirc there was a github version of this that was made to be used with the discord version of EI, but I can't find the link to it
Commenting out the instructed line on Extended Information causes a to crash when revealing a pod (Gatecrasher, new campaign), according to the log Extended info just goes haywire.
Game runs fine however, if I don't comment the line out.
Can I just leave it on? I've no idea what is happening in the background with that line enabled hence the question. I am using the "newest" xcom modding discord version of Extended info
Would this mod affect SaintKnave's Recruits Conserve Character Pool (https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131878283) in any way?

Yes. That should happen automatically.
IIRC more rows are automatically added if needed. If that's not happening you could have a conflict (it's one of the few AML can identify) or some other problem.

Re-read the Description. As, of course, you've already done that.
This mod was such a game changer for me that I can scarcely believe it. The difference in lag before and after is like night and day.
If you, dear reader, are the least bit annoyed by ingame stuttering, download this mod (remember to read the section regarding conflict with the "Extended Information" mod, the fix is described in detail and easy to do).
ExitSign, thank you so much for this mod. This game is one of my favourites, but the stuttering was beginning to ruin my experience. Your mod changed all that. Thank you, thank you!
I can see performance is much improved, but for whatever reason now when I select an enemy to fire at, it always selects the first enemy in the list not the one I chose.
However, somebody else down in the comments said it also improves the performance in the geo scape. This I can't confirm.
