@Vardath This mod is simply a patch that modifies the existing behaviour of the vanilla growth vat, including replacing the png file. I don't see how that would effect FPS as it is a fairly simple mod but I will do some experimenting to check and possibly alter the mod if it is an issue.

Hi, there is an intense fps drop when my growth room is visible on screen, not sure if it's this mod or the other 2 growth vat mods I'm using so I'll share this with each.

@Emperor Lowa, I looked into that, originally I planned to replace the recipe with the old one when the tech is researched, but it may not be possible, might look into it again.

Hey do you know if its possible to change the vat's construction materials with more advanced technology? not saying you should do that, just a thought I had. At least until tynan releases his autocratic control over growth vats. because I love the idea of an early vat, but it could feel awkward for that same tribe to continue building vats that way as they mass-produce even advanced components.
