Don`t work properly in MP build 41.78.7. When i change the engine in a vehicle it returns to previous condition after stop and restart server.

I'm gonna follow this, cuz I was really hoping the engines would retain horsepower regardless of vehicle. If that gets changed/fixed I'll be on it like bears in the woods!

Hello! Thank you for making such an awesome module. But I found a bug that when the car engine is removed, its horsepower value is reset.

For example, if there is a 360 hp engine installed in a sports car, when removing it, its horsepower will become 520 hp.

It seems to work except it doesn't save when the server restarts?

If I swap two engines, they reset. If I take an engine out and leave it on the ground, a new engine will appear in the car I took it from.

so i see people saying the mod is unusable, its a bit broken from my experience. i uninstalled an engine and could not figure out how to put it back or in another car. after a bit i tried equipping it in primary and was able to put it back.

braven when playing split screen (she plays with controller) she cant access the menu that apears when you click on some item on the inventory (to drop, fix, place,etc) just so you know :)

PSA: stop using this mod, it does not work at all.

For some strange reason the game works with the ps4 controller settings, but if I don't close it the game doesn't work

Just posting here in hopes of saving someone from a headache in the future. Don't use this mod if you play with a controller.

You will not be able to navigate the sub-menu/context menu, what ever you wanna call it when you right click (or press A on) an item in your inventory. This was happening with my Xbox controller as well as on my Steam Deck. And weirdly, even my Google Stadia controller. Didn't matter if I had Steam Input enabled or not.

I installed the '92 AM General M998 + M101A3 Cargo trailer mod, and found a military car wreck.
I've inspected it, and it shows an empty tab where the car image and the slot list should be with damaged parts or empty slots.
How can I fix that wreck to a working car?

this mod breaks steamdeck inventory

completely broken.
uninstalled an engine from a heavy semi-truck and it magically became a standard engine-performance.
after relog, the truck i uninstalled the engine from,had magically its engine back, meaning, i just cloned an engine

Very good mod, the feature I wanted. But I have found that when I put a new engine in a car, when I turn on the car information again after turning off the car information panel, the car's engine will revert to the original. Eventually I could take his engine out, switch panel reset, take the engine out again, and he ended up with the same engine. By the way, I'm a snake user, so I don't know if there's a connection

@marcuzz, you do understand that what you're saying is what the mod is supposed to do, right?
this mod is broken as ♥♥♥♥ and the creator isn't doing anything about it.

Makes no sense that you can put 200hp engine from family car to military truck and it magically becomes 600hp beast. All engines are same type, but mod should either keep the vehicle type on engines, like heavy duty/sports/standard, or compare horsepower and don't allow weak engines into strong vehicles. Would be awesome if different engine could alter vehicle performance

So something I have come across that is puzzling me, when I change the engine of a car it seems to only keep the horsepower temporarily. After a relog it usually defaults back to the HP that it had before the swap, anyone run into the same?

cria um mod de sons de veiculos, o jogo fica muito chato com os sons dos carros tudo parecidos, os caminhoes geralmente tem sons de carros e motos tambem e barcos kk, bom acho que isso ia deixar o jogo mais vivo, procurei esse tipo de mod e nao achei

you can actually remove the hotwire even if you dont have this mod. just click the wires on the bottom of the screen
