@paulohsousa1234 That meant you installed the mod incorrectly or have some conflicting mod. Make sure you have no conflicting mods and if that doesnt help, reinstall the mod from scratch and actually follow the installation instructions

Are you gonna make the models appear the same size as the bmcer ones. The marines look smaller in stature. Especially the equipment.

@classic gamer These models are already considerably higher fidelity than what BMBS has to offer, so no we will propably end up decreasing it instead to bring it to consistency with BMCER. As for BMCER, maybe.

@Beretgate This mod does not touch berets, the additional variants seen in screenshots originate from BMCER, but even then Im unable to reproduce the issue. If you are using BMCER as well, make sure you installed correct version of BMCE (You will need BMCE HECU version of it, vanilla HECU version is not supported).

Okay so the helmets aren't showing up and the regular BMCE stopped working, any ideas?

@ddemirkat This mod does not affect the berets in anyway, the beret variety featured in the renders originates from BMCER. I have heard of some people having missing beret textures when using BMCER, however I havent been able to figure out whats causing it for them, I have only ever heard it affecting couple people (required textures and materials ARE present in BMCER files)

I have a problem that all of the berets on the marines show up as missing textures, any way to fix that?

@razorscleo89 No, I meant that it would propably just end up looking like solid red instead of having detailing like current maw has. I might experiment but its not currently a priority for me.

@razorscleo89 Thats how the chest maw is in vanilla game too. And again, blood tends to drown out details so adding too much blood to it would just make it look ugly

@DWBoyGamer Thanks, and I'll make sure to take a much closer look. I use these models to pose on Gmod so I just kind of found it odd the PCV was all bloody and the chest mouth was clean. I like the idea of the implication that the chest mouth would be bloody from the forceful mutation of it literally bursting the chest in two and also from feeding on bodies. ( A bit of a side note here but I kind of wish Gonomes were in Vanilla HL1 because it would make what's normally a fodder enemy into a tanky threat and showing the danger of leaving a Headcrab Zombie alone for too long but that's just Me.)

@razorscleo89 Remnant of the strap is present on the zombie, its just so bloody that its blends with the vest making it hard to see. Its also bit short, but making it longer would require jigglebone physics which are whole another can of worms. I might try making the zombies bit bloodier, but blood tends to drown out lot of the finer details of a texture so I cant promise that. If I do make it it would be BMCER thing though, not HECUR (albeit it would work with this mod since this just reuses scientist zombie textures for flesh parts). I dont like the idea of having squished M40 beneath the Headcrab so I purposefully omitted it from the model, BMCE and BMCER make HECU often spawn without gasmasks anyway so it still makes sense.

@DWBoyGamer Hey so I had two ideas for HECU Zombies. Could there be remnants of the diagonal strap on the front of the PCV? (like two strips of the strap just sagging on both sides?) And could the maw on the chest bed bloodier? (This could go for all the other zombies as well not just the ZECU)

especially stuff like DOE HECU, where they'd need to be easily identifiable by personnel. And id imagine their USMC Force Recon number one cause they wear recon shirts in opfor, two because MARSOC wasnt founded until 2006.

I'd also imagine since they're also a special unit, they'd want to be clearly identifiable from the regular USMC by using patches and what not

@bbx-1103 The patches were added mostly for stylistic reasons and to make HECU stand out more from regular marines. Like Monolith said, we wont be removing them.

@razorscleo89 This isnt really the best place to ask for mod suggestions but Im not aware of such mods since I use Braindeads models, you will have to look around yourself. As for your question about guard pants, Im not sure if that was a typo and you meant BMCER guards. At any rate thr actual BMCE guards have the yellow stripe from vanilla and BMCER will keep the HL1 style pants.

@DWBoyGamer Hey so I have two questions, so first are there any mods on the workshop that make the Vortigaunt shackles glow like in BM: Blue Shift? And for the BMCE Security Guards, will They have stripes on their pants similar to the vanilla guards or will it stick to a more HL1 themed pair of pants?

@Jeppuli They are compatible, its just shotgunner models currently reuse standard HECU animation set instead of the dedicated one. I will fix normal models using it eventually, but unfortunately engineer using them is unfixable due to nature of how adding new HECU models works.

Did a bit more testing, and it appears to be an issue with HECU engineers from the main mod as well. Maybe it could have something to do with entity names?

From my testing it doesn't seem to be fully compatible, since things like the new HECU shotgun reload animation don't seem to work with this, but work just fine with the HECU provided by the base BMCE:R mod

@DWBoyGamer That's fair, will the side buckles be connected with a black or olive nylon strap texture? And I think I asked about the whole similar patch to @EspionageDB7 with the eagle anchor and globe on the right is because I think I miss their being two sets patches on both sleeves but I guess We'll see whatever comes within the future huh? @razorscleo89 Biker gloves feel unprofessional to me. Cat eyes being place green is possible but not currently planned, same answer about the kneepad suggestion. Im not hude fan of the aesthetic of dust cover so most likely it wont be added. Patches arent planned to be changed either as I have said before. Im Not saying they will never be changed, just that its very unlikely we will make the unrealistic again. PCV getting side buckles is reasonable however, I might look in to that. We also want to make it possible to separately toggle some of the pouches and gear so that would include being able to toggle between knife and compass pouch independently from everything else.

That was a mouthful, and I apologize greatly if it ended up basically being a whole paragraph but how about that for ideas for an anniversary update? (I really wish I could do more than just comment and actually help with the project but I'm anything but tech savvy)

@DWBoyGamer Here's a couple things I had in mind, keep in mind You guys don't have to add any of this stuff but You can if You want. The first thing is could the cat eyes maybe be a pale green color? I looked up cat eye bands before and saw them as such before. I'm not familiar with kneepad design but the ''bolts'' I guess? Could they be a more silver or grey color instead of a bronze color? Could the Standard Marines' PCV have side buckles where the green parts are? I ask that You guys please reconsider bringing back the goggle dust covers for the goggles in drabby olive as well as the backwards style and a new bodygroup for the right harness suspender to have a compass pouch over the combat knife sheath on some grunts and finally I was thinking of a Patch under the US Flag on the right sleeve to have the classic HECU stripes and such with a similar shape to the one that @EspionageDB7 made with the USMCs eagle anchor and globe in the middle in silver.

@Jeppuli They all share the same character manifest entry, not much I can do about it and not really worth fixing since its just that one section.
