I dont think I can do much here, this is mostly due to tmod support for worldgen, your slow tick rate is the game generating the biomes at the same time as your playing the game.

To semi solve this, try leaving after beating WoF (make sure to pick up his drops first), the game has an inbuilt menu to generate hardmode first before the world is exited. This should give the world full PC strength to generate the biomes. If BoBW still crashes on extremely large worlds even after leaving then let me know

@Lion8cake hello. so i've done quite a bit of testing on my own end. it seems like the mod will cause a permanent slower tick rate when enabled with AWG especially in hell and upon defeating the WoF if Fargos Best of Both worlds is enabled (even with all config options turned off) with Both World Goods on for Rebaked the game usually crashes. if fargos BoBw is disabled the game continues to have the slower tick rate but looking at the map the Confection generates properly but the message indicating "the spirits of light and darkness" never shows up even after 10 minutes. I'm using the World Size: 14500 x 5500 for most testing but did some on smaller worlds with similar issuses.

@pizzaman2006 please detial these issues and I'll have them fixed. AWG is pretty essential for some mod packs so this is high priority

Recently noticed an issue with my mods where I couldn't plant gemcorns. Issue would persist with mods disabled until I verified the tModloader files. After turning off my mods and re-enabling them one at a time, it appears that the one that breaks things is The Confection.

The no spread option in the confit prevents world generation with extra tiles as well

there should be an option to never generate the confection-exclusive blocks like cookie blocks, not like partial spread where they just don't do anything but an option to just never make them in the first place. i'm fine with them but i'm playing with friends and they hate that they can't easily purify it with fargo's

just in case you didn't see my message on the tml discord, while the mod is active you can't place gemcorns on any stone type except creamstone

the surface reuses the postlude track, but we have custom music for the underground as of a few days ago

Hihi, silly question. Drunk Worlds use music from Otherworld, a canceled sequel to Terraria. Does this mod use Otherworld music if you generate a Drunk World, or does it retain its own music?

I can talk about why I prefer v1.4.3 to v1.4.4, but I think that's too long; above all, this comment area is not for talking about I prefer, but your mod, so I just said there are also people.
I think this mod idea is wonderful and I wanted to play, so I just checked whether it can play on v1.4.3. (There was some changelog that caught my attention.)

No idea why you’re playing on 1.4.3, but no. Due to what happened with Alternate Library back in 2023, this mod became unsupported for the 1.4.3 version of the game

Having a similar problem as mai bunshine, where forest and evil grass seems to be completely disabled. Thought it might have been an incompatibility at first, but further testing it with no other mods but this one and a new world with confection enabled is still devoid of tall grass.

I've found that the new Crimson equivalent for the True Night's Edge cannot be used to craft the Terra Blade, which seems like a significant oversight. I have also found that the Lickity Split can be obtained immediately, instead of only after The Moon Lord is defeated, which also feels like a significant mistake

i think i've encountered a bug: it seems that with this mod enabled, grass just won't ever grow on any grass-covered dirt tiles. so the world i generated is entirely devoid of it. this might be an incompatibility with another mod

is fishing in the confection broken? i've done quite a lot of fishing in both the surface and underground confection, and have never fished up any fish, crates, or weapons from the biome

ok, was wondering bc it's being maintained by someone not from the original version and works greatly, and currently (haven't done much testing and the testing was over a month ago) terraria origins uses it but with a bit of issues since confection uses it's own system for alt biomes

its being considered, but for the time being and the history previously with altlib, I wouldnt expect this mod to use it for a while

question, would this mod start using the new updated version of Alt Library ?

the two workarounds for now are either flying a kwad racerinto the confection or playing music via the utlrasonic mod
the ultrasonic mod works because it disables regular music and the kwad racer works because when trying to play music it tracks the player position and not the drone

and in drunk seed with confection and depth after getting into hardmode, i'm getting two confections and spreaded corruption. No hallow or spreaded crimson

i have only confection, the depth, dragon lens and quite enough recipes and this happens

Some people have been having this issue as of late, and I’m unsure why. It’s not just the confection

In case it matters, i also have calamity, fargo's best of both worlds, and vitality. also magic storage but i dont think that would change anything.

is there a known reason that i lose the ability to do anything when i enter the confection? The game still runs and all, but my character freezes in place, and nothing i press or click does anything.
