Mostly because I think they're cool.
Otherwise, REALLY cool idea for a boss!
Though I feel as if the mask, or maybe even the puppets, could be built more towards the Mausoleum's Aesthetics...
first it's a Flesh Maiden that also fires 8 shots at all directions,
then it's a big mask that just sits there that also fires 8 shots at all directions plus a slow ring of fire spawning Flesh Maidens.
then monstro with hat from meet the robinsons skin spawns jumping spiders.
Tear patterns are boring and the hat and The Puppetier look kinda off, but the idea is very intersting.
if it was up to me I'd keep the Puppeteer in the shadows focusing on the puppets, Maybe make the wood fall off revealing the fleshy insides, then after you destroy the puppet The Puppetier spawns a bunch of different ones for you to play with, turning the boss into a gang fight then maybe after you destroy enough he gets mad and tries to stomp you with his hand. then after you damage it enough his hand falls off and he retreats.
