If he doesn't want people to redistribute/modify/port his models he should mention that (like i do) and not release the source files to do those very things.

That may be the case, but there's still no notice about no redistribution anywhere on the original download.

They were taken from Astrexis, who makes VRChat models. He took them of sfmlabs recently, but they obviously made it further than that.

thanks. I found the Deviantart release where he gives the original blend file for download. No notice about "No redistribution" anywhere though.

Model is made by Astrexis, who doesn't allow redistribution of the model.

you *could* say the two of them are split over the campaigns, one as the dead as hell pilot on TLS, the also dead as hell pilot in Crash Course, and the equally dead as hell concert chopper pilot
