Is there a way to select specific random entities to always appear? It would be nice for stuff like the barricaded tower in dark carni finale.

Mr Fox Wilde, I had that problem to, and when I was cleaned up my workshop subscribtions, the mod works fine now, i guess you got the scripts that doesn't combarable with ROS, so you need to check 1 by 1 script mod that broke ROS. It's importantly to delete "hard Rain's Population Restored" or mods that modifies or change's "naw mesh", check description of mods that you'll consider as a conflict mod

IDK what kind of update you did, but it did stop working for me. I see cars getting in clipped together and path ways getting blocked on both ends si i had to rely on the special infected to break the walls, and several invisible props/pathways that is refusing to reveal itself.

i find that the "left 4 bots 2" mod is a useful mod to help find areas of the map where the bots have trouble pathfinding through.

for example, i found 2 areas here where the bots have trouble pathfinding because they think the Navmesh connects when it does not connect

here are 2 spots the bots will try to pathfind through when it is clearly blocked. these are on the Dead Center campaign, both on the "Streets" chapter i beleive

one Navvmesh bug is on no Mercy chapter 1, when the big bus spawns near the alarm car area, the survivor bots will not pathfind around it. they will try to path find "through" it

i do love this mod so much, the random paths this mod lets me take is so much fun! i just hope that some of the "navmesh" issues with the objects get fixed, there are some maps where the infected and survivor bots just have serious trouble navigating

Good mod, a breath of fresh air. Better with other players. It does say beta so I think navmesh on new objects/obstacles still needs polishing. I made sure that I don't have mods that messes with navmesh.

I do test it with All 8 Survivors Sourcemod and Left4Bots 2 mod's command, typing "bots lead" on game chat. They are able to lead up to the safehouse in some walkthroughs of the same campaign map but not always. Sometimes there are obstacles that player bots and infected bots can't seem to recognize. On those instances, I just either use bots follow or bots warp on game chat.

The one that I mostly tested so far is just Dead Center's Streets. The bots can't recognize the fallen trailer truck that we encounter after we leave the safehouse. Also the fence outside the safehouse of the end of the stage. There could be far more changes to environment that I haven't encountered yet but those 2 are the only ones that bots can't recognize on Dead Center's Streets.

Is there a way to remove the panic event you included in NM Map 1? I love what this mod does, but I think that part should just outright be a seperate addon.

the alarm door in the rooftop of chapter 5 in no mercy usually spawns an horde at the beginning of the chapter when ur inside the saferoom, and once you get outside, the alarm door will be closed but the alarm doesnt active and neither spawns an horde if you open it.

Here to report a long time bug that's still existing, both of the RNG crescendo events introduced in ROS 2.0 can spawn l4d2 common infected (specifically the default population). Whether it is intentional or not, I hope to see it addressed soon.

Mancat, but here's a question: there is less randomness on The Sacrifice map in the same archive version of your mod from T A C M, there is more randomness, for example: on the first map, the transport always changed at the beginning and there was also a chance that the stairs would be closed. In the new version, only the white truck appears and the stairs are always open, or new carriages appeared between the brick factory and the train crash site, but now this is no longer the case.
So I wanted to know: is this a bug? Or did you disable part of the randomiser yourself?

P.S. If the update from 22 September has already fixed this problem, that's great! (I just haven't checked yet.)

@MANACAT just wanted to point out that the bots seem to be unable to follow over the front counter at the end of Dead Air Chapter 2. Might need to work on the nav a bit?

Amazing and have been using since initial release but I am pretty sure this is causing crashes for me fairly often. I think mostly on Dark Carnival, Hard Rain, Dead Air and Last Stand.

this feels like vanilla!!! why? if you see developer commentary valve kinda implemented some map changes cemetery have some, dark carnival have some fences appear before the bumper car, dead center mall can change the alarm path, but it feels like valve did not go all in in to maps/objects change they just mentioned in developer commentary, this mod kinda feels like it add to the valve vision to be honest, one of the best mods on workshop, i use this one with the random alarm cars and it feels great, after over 10 years playing vanilla game its good to see more random things now olol

I get frequent hard crashes attempting to load into the third level of Dead Air. It seems to be the only map I get this on.

This has been the message every time:

Note that if you've enabled the "Archived" mod, it will confused the bots to have their time teleporting to the other side of an invisible object. Disable that mod, or this mod prevent the bots from doing this.

In the campaign The Sacrifice half stopped working randomizer, namely on the first map (at the very beginning, where there are stairs, a fence should appear, but now it stopped appearing. Also disappeared carriages that appeared after the tank, where the bricks begin)

1. I don't know what addons you are using. I think you'll be using left 4 bots, if you're using addons like nevfixes, remove that. I have verified that it is working properly.
2. it doesn't happen to me on No Mercy chapter 4. sadly, I can't fix something I don't know the cause of.

also, the 4th chapter of no mercy causes crashes. im not a coder, so i dont know the specifics, but the crashes are acknowledged in this reupload of your mod
