@sheel If you open the Barotraumatic mod folder and navigate to the Characters folder, that contains the folder of every creature you can possibly see.

I have no desire to play riddles; I use other mods that add content. Just tell me what to do with this thing, and that's it. Otherwise, I'll just have to disable it in spawn.

How do you defeat the electrical anomaly? It can't be killed, bots keep shooting at it endlessly, it doesn't leave the boat, and it's incredibly annoying.

Abyss is not infinite in BT and BT does not change level generation from vanilla.

No that is the first I have heard of them having a ??? or visible as an item they should be a rolling gas cloud that you need to wear a basic dive mask or suit to prevent inhaling the fumes

Is it intended for the Giant Viperling Sufforin Gas clouds to be questions marks (???)'s that walk around the sub? I thought they'd have some kind of gassy texture.

This is fantastic, but the Giant Viperling releasing clouds of sufforin is actually just stupid, frustrating and really poorly thought out, because you can almost never kill them by the time they get 1 singular shot off, and all of a sudden all of the bots are dying from a toxin I cannot physically make enough antidotes for.

Please, if you can, change the Giant Viperling's clouds. make them deal heavy acid burns or something.

I know the whole point of this mod is insane relentless brutality, but of all the overpowered creatures to deal with, the Giant Viperlings are the least rewarding, the least fun and the least fair.

i dont know if this is from this mod, but monsters do not appear to spawn in the abyss.

actually it is pretty singleplayer friendly aside from like 2 creatures (friendly is a strong word), the rest of your mod list though...

Firstly I can't balance around singleplayer at all, the game is predominantly multiplayer and the vast majority of mods are based on multiplayer campaigns at the moment or second station RP which is a GM curated sandbox experience.

If you are using other mods or overhauls, especially ones that are not recommended like Let Them All In I can't fix issues that are native to cross mod issues like alpha charby gets inside the ship now and causes it to knock the sub around violently til the server crashes, that is a modlist issues not a mod issue.

I can't diagnose issues if you don't say when and where they happen similarly when you complain the difficulty mod is too hard but its because you have a half dozen other mods that overhaul vanilla systems so two crawler bites and both your arms are busted and can't fight back while trying to change the deadly fuel rods in your reactor while single player and the bots can do nothing to help fix or save you neither can I as I don't know what is going on in your game state.

@quilates_24 I recommend using OP subs and hire more bots because Barotraumatic is supposed to be ridiculously hard. Just keep in mind that game performance plummets once you introduce all these factors.

I understand it's a mod that adds difficulty, but it's ridiculously unbalanced. On my first dive, I encountered massive creatures like Moloch, Sangujas, and another large monster that induces psychosis. There were also tiny shrimp-like creatures that slid through my submarine's hull like butter, aliens, and even invisible creatures.

Do I have to use other mods to be able to progress with Barotraumatic? Because I can't do anything with the vanilla gauss cannons.

Got tinnitus blasted by my own mod due to an undocumented charge from months back where the carrier cooks you if you are outside the submarine ala real sonar, this was not reported until just now and I got ringing ears.

Mod is hotfixed along with new psychoclowns in abandoned stations and the new Cthulhu progeny has much reduced range and doesn't get stuck in the abyss. bunch of other minor fixes like I dunno ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ huskcontainer eatforce reduced so its not so absurd or hurts them.

You might need to reinstall the mod following the instructions, several people have been playing with the older mod before it was merged with the creature pack.

Do the new models for the creatures only appear at a later stage or did I do something wrong in the installation? I'm still mainly seeing the normal creatures.
