it's funny to see synne on front page again, this new algorythm is cool for showing best of ws from the past

I’m just curious, if this character was apart of one of the four main elements in Aether, what element would they be in?

Yet another character that could have won the current competition if only there weren't the restriction on entries only being made in a certain timeframe.

Ok....this character is near perfect for me but a few changes if possible would make him well....perfect imo...

1. Allow him to get the Sun back anywhere on screen instead of having to hit the Sun with the Tail of NSpecial while the Sun is out.

2. Allow him to do rising double jump aerials while holding jump when doing an aerial similar to Absa.

3. Allow for air smash attacks as well as giving hitboxes to the spinning planets on Dsmash (only on the Sun I don't thing having the hitboxes active when spinning around Synne is necessary)

4. Make his claws during Nair active so that Nair is useful when the Sun have the small planets orbiting around it (imo it should be very weak, not weak to the point were it can still a decent combo tool but kills at very high percents).

5. Last but not least USpecial should only cause Free Fall when he kicks the last planet away or when he only have 1 planet to kick, Uspecial 1 and 2 don't give him enough height to cause a Free Fall imo.

What happened to the Pokemon skin?

One of the most unique fighters made on the workshop, I'm also ecstatic over the pikmin alt. :D

Did they get nerfed? If so is there a way to get back the old version?

The timer around the sun on the "erratic pulse" alt would be pretty nice to have as default since its kinda hard to tell exactly when the sun is going to go off, amazing character by the way :)

Why is there an onion in the character description

To elaborate, I meant fullhop fadeback fair with planets. By the time the planets aren't active hitboxes Synne is out of endlag, and has drifted high/far away enough that they are basically completely safe in my experience. Not sure what could be changed (or if it should) so for now I'll just gitgud I guess

Fullhop fair (with all planets) is extremely hard to avoid or punish (if managed to avoid it) as a lot of characters, but other than that this character is really cool, and surprisingly fun to fight against for a zoner/puppet/whatever archetype it is. Also the planet motions and animations are mesmerising

i want to see it with final smash budy compatabeity

Anyone have a character guide coming up? I'm confused as to how sun up special works. Also, is there any way to bring the planets back from a distance.

character check, victory theme check, stage check well thats everything great job.

you can cancel down b into any normal attack on the ground or air. it can help with combos. you can also you down b to pull your opponent in when they are in hit stun. If you side special and use down special after that, the planet will boomerang back with a hit box. if a planet is heading towards you, you can dodge the planet and when the planet has passed you, it will have a hit box. all the smash attacks can slide on the ground but with down smash you can go off the ledge. you can also buff the moves that use planets. if you hit dash attack you can hold down to not leave the ground. all the moves that use planets will be different while n special is out. n special will fall when it is not below ground. You can also angel side special up or down slightly.

Is the ventures skin an Outer Wilds reference? I love it! This will be cherished for centuries!

If it is a reference, do you have plans to have the sun go from yellow to red to blue for the supernova, or is that too difficult/not going to bother?

Also also, do you have plans to update the character portraits to show the different things that surround him? Not just different colors but some skins have different object that aren't planets.

Wonderful character though. No problems only really neat mechanics and a lot of fun to play against and as.

This character is awesome. The fact that he's got so much utility makes him fun to play. The neutral special plus the side special make him great at kiting enemies, and the black hole allows this character to reload the planet projectiles much quicker. Overall, the design and execution are very well done.
