yeah the half corpses are really buggy, it's like a 50/50 it'll look normal or look like a red mush.

when I use corrected common infected or other similar mods the cut in half corpse guts texture turns into a strange texture which I can only describe as teeth?

tbh I like the look of the normal corpses more, they look more human and they got unique clothes. But not bad

Is there a mod that restored the old l4d1 corpse piles for all the campaigns that don't have them? Like Dead Air and Crash Course and Blood Harvest etc

so i did some research and it turns out the lines i was hearing were placeholder lines leftover in the files, i still have no clue why they were playing but now i know where they came from

PSA: L4D1 Common Infected Overhaul got updated to remove the corpses, so this mod may be more compatible with that

@MIM it conflicts because "L4D1 Common Infected Overhaul" uses the textures of the corpses in the infected, i think its not safe to use.

Good mod, but tbh, I like the crustiness of the dead bodies. Reminds me of when I first played the game on my absolute SHӀTE laptop back in 2016.

I just wanted to ask you if you knew why this is suddenly happening now?

this doesn't cover the military corpse ragdoll so it still looks like pixelated vomit
