You should make more maps i like this one because its the lightest map i can run on my computer i use this one all the time.

I just wanted to let you know now because others might have this problem later.

I've noticed this problem with many maps, it's just that some textures don't have the correct sound and the map maker must either choose another texture or copy it, change it's name, edit it's surface properties and pack it together with the map.

I'll take care of this problem on my maps I'm working on, don't worry

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, but when I walk on the grass, it sounds like I'm walking on concrete. I struck the grass with a crowbar only to find out it made the sounds of concrete being hit. Is this a download error? Besides this, it's a great map.

Read the comments carefully before posting. It's under your Others tab and you need to click the heart icon at it, to have it appear under the Favourites tab

Freespace 09 is also among my all time favorite build maps ;). Try to check out some Excess maps too, mainly gm_excess_island and gm_excess_construct

I have FS09 for friends only, as the maker of the map told me to get it back. I don't know if I have to take it back or not if the maker of the map hasn't even uploaded it to here, but I don't want to have any problems with rules...

If you want FS09, you can just extract the freespace09.gma file and put the maps folder into your garrysmod folder. To extract the .gma files, use GMad extractor. I recommend to do this way rather than downloading it from the old website, so that you get the icon which I made for this map. Feel free to share it with your friends!

Please bring back Freespace09! It's gone, and I really liked it! Can I just download it from the old GMod website?

@duck Go to the Others folder. Freespace maps usually have no gm_ at them, thus won't appear in the sandbox maplist. I could've added it myself but didn't do it because of compatibility issues. Click the heart at it to make the map appear at the Favourites tag, for easier access

@Pizza That's an interesting idea, I never thought about it as that myself. I don't know if it's true, but one freespace map has 03 in the name, although GMod didn't exist in 2003. But it could be correct with Freespace 13 and 09

why does the map not show at the map selection?
