- You don't need to toggle N N after confirming (Right Click), as it shows the ghost block immediately, and placing a block (Left Click) will hide the opaque preview axis
- Clearer messages that clarify what button to press next (eg. M now says to Right Click to confirm, since the original mod description doesn't mention that critical step!)
- Axis planes are more translucent (closer to Creative's) so they're less obtrusive
- Fixed bug creating glitchy clientside-only blocks if the mirroring fails due to missing inventory items
- Fixed cycling starting with 'None' axis
I suspect a lot of problems were from the unclear controls, or possibly weirdness from the wrong inventory check before placing.
ill go to place a block, i can see in the mirror in red where it should place but it never dose no matter what i do.
Like 30% failure rate which is way too high
FIX
N to Enable/Disable, M to select axis while aiming at the block you want to mirror to, Right mouse to confirm the axis, N twice to reenable to get rid of duplicated colored pane and start building. Mirroring multiblocks will create "ghost" blocks. Relogging gets rid of ghost/no collision blocks.
Sometimes he places the block, sometimes not.
I'm using a large grid and placing 1x1 block.
I do not know what is happening!
Look for this line (there are three that are similar to one another... each for a mirror plane mode):
Utils.DrawPlane(grid.LocalCordsToWorld(center), m.Up * bb.HalfExtents.Y, m.Forward * bb.HalfExtents.Z, 255, 0, 0, 200);
Changing 200 to a lower number will decrease the opacity. The first three numbers is the RGB value. The last number is the opacity.
Is what I originally said, till I started running into issues with blocks not being placed on a proper mirror, and occasionally having blocks placed that can't be removed, not even by an admin... that's pretty problematic.
pressing M cycles the mirror angle but does not seem placable (always sticks to the block I am holding)
pressing n says it enables and disables mirror mode
but no matter what i do I cant seem to actually get it to build in mirror mode
also OP, can you update this mod to bring in the drag feature, so I dont have to click a thousand times to put down a floor in survival. Would be nice to drag a row of blocks.
