@duckofdarkness555 I'm no longer modding AHiT anymore, but I remember turning over the scripts to members of the community years ago. There is probably a mod that is better for this purpose somewhere on here. The limit I set is arbitrary and I decided it based on how many hats could actually fit on the wheel before things get too crowded to see anything.

can we get bigger wheel? or maybe remove, add and reorder hats? please, we all need it

No, it's all happening because devs decided to add "Hat Wheel killing mechanism" inside Hat_Player class instead of Hat Wheel's class itself. So it only kills vanilla Hat Wheel because GetHUD function does not support subclasses.

@Da Wrecka, it's also possible that another mod can cause a conflict that causes it to behave differently. Particularly if it's modifying the HUD system as well.

@Da Wrecka I have never heard of that happening with a gamepad, but I haven't tested it in a long time. Sometimes updates to the game change the way mods behave. I would try bulbyVR's Page Menu version.

Re: the selection thing, I'm having the same problem with a controller. I have to hold LB to bring up the menu, push the stick to the hat I want, and then either press LB again or press LR.

I can confirm bulbyVR has released their Page Menu.

Tbh the think with pressing with right click choosing hat and then left click is actually pretty comfortoble to use

@Woomyneer I've tried many variations and have had help, but without being able to determine why it's doing that, we've been unsucessful at preventing it from working like that. It only does that for mouse, gamepad works the same as it always did for selecting a hat.

@Time_pug this is a glitch that sometimes happens when removing installed hat mods (it can also cause duplicates of hats). i do think there was a way to remove them, but im not certain (you can always try a google search, im sure you'll find something there)

Thank god this mod exists. now i dont have to disable my mods everytime a play the game. btw the knuckles hat never disapers even when i disable it, i think its a curse

Is there a MOD that allows you to customise your Hat Wheel? So you don't have to keep disabling and re-enabling Hat MODs to get the hats you want onto the wheel?

Can't wait for the ability to customize your hat wheel. The risk of it getting shuffled around is mostly why I hesitate to install custom hats, since I have a habit of subconsciously moving the analog stick in a certain direction to quickly equip a hat I want.
