Strange, but this map constantly causes crashes after 15-30 minutes. It might be tied to the music.

Who said anything about porting? Maybe you can learn how to make maps and eventually. Create your own remakes of classic ODST maps

Thanks, usually I'm more used to having people talking about how a mapmaker can sue for re-uploading his work, even with credits. Fortunately I know the rules on the matter.

I know; and that's very well...nice: all I would say\am saying (what have the;) is that some people seem to be\are trying to weaponize it, so all I would say is that if you can't get ahold of the creator of an addon\whoever made it refuses to oblige you and you really want to put it up or it's something another addon needs etc. all you need to do if you want to be nice is credit them; that's what non-profit crediting is for. Just putting it out there, as it were.

I know that, but I always ask permission as far as it's possible just to be nice to the mapmaker. But if there's a map I really can't ask the permission for, I will do without.

Just remember due to fair use copyright law so long as you do not try to take credit for or sell something you do not need anyones permission to use (or in this case post) something that is publicly available...

@TheFelineOverlord My reccomendation would be: Get a good PC before you go download as much as you can (especially of the same variety)

@TheFelineOverlord: well that's kinda your problem. And a CSGO required version would make almost no difference since most of the content of this map is custom.

@Loadingue I have CS:GO on my computer, is there a version of this map that requires it? I'm running out of storage space on my hard drive thanks to 600+ Addons, most of which are vehicles and anime playermodels :(

thats fine, i see what you mean with all that copyright jibbe rjabber, its a long, dull process, the map still looks gucci tho so i wouldnt really see the difference anyway, or it would be good either way!

I thought about it but since that would have required a lot more effort and time to ask all the people who made such props, and since the map already looked good as it was, I decided against it.

the map is amazing but you could of used halo 3 odst props, barriers, buses and trucks etc to make the map look more halo like, but if you coudlnt then thats fine, its a great map either way
