when i use the ladder tool i get this error any one know what addon or thing is doing this error msg :

i found a fully,useable,moveable ladder as prop download SligWolf's cane and search the ladder in the menu on the tab addons

I searched for a working ladder for a long time before I came across this. The ladder itself is a great tool, but you can't move it. Wherever you spawn it is where it will be. Also, if I save my game and come back later, any ladders that were previously in the world are gone. I've been building onto the Big City map for months, connecting rooftops and adding rooms and buildings. The ladder has massively helped me to improve my map, but nothing is permanent with it. I could really use this ladder if it were fixed. Thanks.

also it gets welded to the ground... please fix that can you stop it getting welded to the ground so we can move the ladder

I cant climb it

Now we can play chutes and ladders in Gmod.

No probs :) Discovered that if u spawn it on the wall it will become bridge. Thougt if u do that, there is an offset in Z pos. Also How can u spawn a bridge using two Trace.HitPos ( Left Click twice = two random postition vectors ) ??

I got that too, i got all required packs for gmod except zeno clash and CSGO, and i highly doubt it requires any of those.

@J.D. I think i used the wrong model for this. You may need css for this :/

I noticed, but its the same thing still happen, i even spawned it in the very open and couldnt view a model, and i have hl2 like the rest of the world...

@J.D. You cant spawn it too close to the wall.

you should make it so when we spawn the ladder it uses the ladder model from Hl2, and if it already does than i cant see it, its totally blank and its a ♥♥♥♥♥ to find where you spawned it.

I get the error that davidpark is posting everytime when I spawn the ladder and as he says, I also get it twice. The ladder looks strange when it's a set of many ladders stacked together and creates strange things when spawned on a non 90° surface. My camera also shakes a lot when walking on it.

If you can improve this addon then please do

@BJTAG but ingame you can change their sizes. I just did that to show that the ladders can have different colors and different sizes.

the longest is the red one and the shortest is the blue one.
