You're saying someone is "cheating" in a single player game? Get over yourself and off your high horse, child. Do you know what happens when you combine QoL mods with overhaul mods? The game gets more difficult. Like my Skyrim runs with over 300 mods. Sure I can carry a crapload of stuff, but everything is far more deadly with a variety of spells to kill me with. Who cares if someone wants to get a little more from mining, maybe they have other mods to make the overall game more difficult; even if they don't it doesn't matter. IT'S A SINGLE PLAYER GAME! That means the point is FUN, not to compete against that not-person who isn't playing with you.

In short, grow up or go back to World of Warcraft and "DotA2" where that toxicity belongs.

I want mods that make the game more fun, not make it waaaay to easy. looser

Is there any reason why the "No Minable Components" mod was removed?

The mod is marked as 1.3 on the Workshop here, but in the in-game mod manager it's showing it's incompatible. Works fine though. Thanks!

Update broke compatibility with the Mineshafts mod (based upon Omni core drill). Makes the work required to mine a component go from like 400 to -2147487248 or something

@Coretex Same here. Some update or something must have wiped it to 0 in the mod settings. Made the next new start one hell of a challenge when the only time I could get more components were from trading, ship debris, or making them. If I didn't have the mod to do maintenance for equipment upkeep instead of things breaking and using components to fix them the run would have never gotten off the ground.

@Neceros Thanks for the unexpected hard mode! Using your mod here to turn components' spawn to 0 and using Fluffy Breakdowns makes a Primitive run so much more realistic with not getting components from the ground.

I figured it out - for some reason the mod was defaulting the vein size to 0...

This mod (which is one of my staple mods) appears to be causing compacted machinery veins to no longer spawn... anyone seen this?

Fixed a huge error thanks to Tilla Siren. Your component vein sizes will no longer be the size of steel deposits.

3~6 is normal
2 yield is normal

what is the normal setting for vein size? I can't seem to find one that doesn't give me a LOAD of them or only a miniscule amount. (I pulled in 600 from one tile and it just seemed cheaty
)

Added a settings menu for customizing the vein size of mineable components. You must start a new game for it to take effect.

As far as mod conflicts, I wouldn't be sure. I'm not hip enough to figure out how to do a Harmony patch so it works with everything perfectly. As it stands it does alter one of the base files, so its plausible it conflicts.

This is definitely affected by mining skill :)

is this affected by your mining skill or are there known mod conflicts? while using this i only seem to get 2-3 components on occaision.
