It was a great campaign, but I couldn't stand the the amount of special infected spawning, it's like there's no cool down I kill a charger, am try to heal and within not even a minute there's another charger

That finale, I refuse to play with game instructor on, the pick up area is supposed to be obvious so you just run to the escape

Just released the biggest update to this campaign to date. Should see big optimisation improvements (better framerate for everyone)! Also I believe the crash some had on map 3 has been fixed. It's hard to say since I never had a crash here to test but I believe I've eliminated whatever should have caused it.

Hi H_E_C_K, there are 2 gnomes on map 1. Map 5 is the only map without a shootable gnome (but one does eventually make an appearance).

I've searched high and low for the gnomes on the first map, but I noticed that in total there are 5 maps, when there were only four described to contain gnomes.

For clarification do the gnomes start showing up in the absolute first map of the campaign or do they start showing up on "Militarized Zone"?

Well, after trying several times it worked! Now everytime I open the game, the campaign is running well... Thank you! must be Steam problem like you said.

Moonpie, I've had this problem myself with various workshop items for a few games. It seems to be a bug in steam. All i can suggest is to start l4d2 and wait on the menu screen. you sometimes see a download bar in-game at the bottom of the screen where it downloads mods you've subscribed to if it hasn't downloaded them directly through steam. If this doesn't work, try going to SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop (the file names might be random numbers) and see if part 2 of this campaign is there at all. Unsubscribe, delete the file, restart steam, resubscribe and see if it downloads.

The game downloaded all the parts, except part 2. I restarted the game several times but still doesn´t work. Why is that? I subscribed this campaign today, so it´s the latest version.

You might have different versions. Make sure you both have the latest version downloaded. Also make sure to set the server as Local.
