Additions:
  • Added Blender and several blender recipes
  • Added "Monster Doner" and "SPAM" to repurpose low-condition meats that cannot be used for cooking

Changes:
  • Human meat can no longer be used for generic food (burgers, hotdogs...). Consuming human meat should always result in gaining "Cannibalism" for balance purposes
  • Disabled rawhumanmeat as it is no longer used
  • Renamed "Hungry for Human Meat" into "Craving Human Meat" for clarity
  • Rebalanced Cannibalism/Craving. Meals give more cannibalism. Cannibalim goes away faster at lower values. Craving is removed much faster once Cannibalism is gone. Sleeping helps with curing cannibalism a bit.
  • You can no longer get tapeworm when you have worms and vice-versa
  • Increased thirst values of water so you don't have to drink as many bottles
  • Added alternative Salt recipe so it's harder to run out of salt completely
  • Increased MRE eating speed
  • Added inventory icons for forks/spoons
  • Soups are served by dragging a bowl inside the pot instead of using fabrication. This prevents the pots from being "eaten" by the stove
  • Added more output slots for kitchen fabricators to prevent items from accidentally falling and making it easier to serve soups
  • Kettle content like tea or coffee is now poured (RMB+LMB) directly into cups (cup needs to be aimed by you or a nearby player)
  • Cups can now be toggled between refill or drinking mode via your "Use" keybind (default "E")
  • Cups and glasses will now become dirty over time if you drank from them previously and didn't refill for a while
  • Seeds meant to be used as ingredients (oil, flour...) now use the "seedingredient" tag. Update your custom plants!
  • More glass containers can go inside Liquor crates
  • Nerfed Cleaver damage and limb severing chance by about 20% (it was too strong)
  • Replacement panel for ULD is now hidden to avoid sprite depth conflicts
  • Adjusted prices and quantities of meats sold at butcher merchant for clarity

Last batch of small changes and bug fixes.
Next updates will be focused on content

Additions:
  • Added "Mobile Dishwasher" which can be used to clean more tableware at once
  • Added "Dishwasher Tablet" which is required for dishwashers to function
  • Added "Bag of Dishwasher Tablets" which contains 10 dishwasher tablets

Changes:
  • Changed/Fixed power transfer for kitchen counter and kitchen pantry. Features a power_in and power_out (like relays). MAKE SURE TO REWIRE YOUR KITCHEN
  • Changed how alcohol is applied by drinks. Stronger drinks will now make you drunk quicker
  • Changed Beds and Sleeping:
  • Resting in a bed (not sleeping) only reduces Nausea/Concussion/Drunk, but much faster than before
  • Sleeping in a bed heals damage slowly, but also addictions and withdrawal faster than before
  • Changed sleep overlay so you can see around your character a little
  • Changed worm and tapeworm infection to be detectable instantly via health scanner (previously only showed starting at 10%)
  • Hit-by-poop duration reduced, increases Hygiene
  • Embarassment increases Stress
  • Increased the hunger value of snacks slightly (chips, algae cake and protein bar)

Fixes:
  • Fixed preferred food not reducing mood (spelling mistake in IDs, might throw error the first time you load)
  • Fixed not gaining butchery at all when chopping up corpses. Had to come up with a... hacky solution

Changes:
  • Crafting costs for kitchen appliances rebalanced. Uses less Titanium alloy.
  • Amount of fork/spoon uses required to eat meals reduced in general. It took too much time to eat those meals
  • MRE food value nerfed
  • Some cooked meals food value buffed/rebalanced
  • Bread/Slices/Buns food values adjusted to be equivalent per 1 unit of Dough
  • Bread food value reduced to match other bread products
  • Bread no longer uses Sugar in its recipe
  • Spare ribs use sugar instead of salt
  • Drinks can no longer be combined as you could not drink from a combined bottle with 100% condition

Hotfix

    Changes:

Hotfix

    Changes:
  • Can open Cooler crate with E without picking it up

Fixes:

  • Fixed Gardening Sprinkler not watering plant enoughs. The sprinkler now heals roughly 50% of plant health per cycle, to know how long a cycle must be THERE IS A PLANT GROWTH CALCULATOR IN THE MOD FILES. Plants will see another rework in about a month when DLC comes out (?)
  • Fixed "Head Chef" talent giving a skill boost of 2500% !!!!
  • Fixed Ethanol being consumed by sprayers way too fast
  • Fixed Ethanol applying "drunk" instantly instead of over time
  • Fixed infinite coffe mug glitch in kettle
  • Fixed odd stack sizes for buns and bread slices
  • Added missing text and corrected wrong text IDs

MAJOR Changes:

  • Rework of almost all meat related recipes to make use of all kitchen equipment. For example burgers and hotdogs will now be put together on the cutting board while the meat is cooked seperately in the oven or the stove with either a pan or cooking pot.
  • A lot more kitchen equipment added. The kitchen counter has a power outlet (like a junction box) to help power them.
  • Cutting board needs to be manually operated to function.
  • Burgers, Hotdogs, MREs and other fast foods no longer have a (species) attribute. This was done to reduce the amount of item bloat in fabricators and medical UI. Fast food no longer gives food buffs. Expect error messages when loading an old save as those items have been deleted
  • Food buffs reworked: buffs are no longer tied to species (example: mudraptor => damage resistance). Food buffs are more minor and depend on the recipe of the meal. More complex meals give more buffs.
  • Most foods no longer stack to avoid accidentally eating the 2nd item in the stack after finishing the first one. Use lunchboxes to carry extra food.
  • Integrated: "Tiredness" and "Mood" from NEEDS. These are optional and can each be toggled via an item at vending machines or forced via a separately available "Enforcer" patch
  • Added: New optional affliction "Hygiene" which is enabled with the "Filthy Europan" item (partially bugged, is removed too easily)
  • Added: Traits. You can select a preferred food and drink that will help improve your Mood when consumed
  • Food quality and parasites: eating food has a small chance of giving you intestinal parasites. Cooking skill increases food quality: the higher the quality, the less likely your food will make you sick.
  • Unit Load Devices can be swapped to make empty space for your kitchen.
  • A lot of new text requiring translation. The English file is a mess though, will work on making translation easier in the future

New:

  • Added: New tableware items including: Fork, Spoon, Cups, Plates, Bowls and their dirty variants
  • Added: "Sink" kitchen item, now separated from the kitchen counter. Used to refill bottles and clean tableware
  • Added: "Pan" item. Required for cooking some recipes on the stove and can be used as a melee weapon
  • Added: "Pot" item. Required for cooking some recipes on the stove
  • Added: "Electric Grill". Used to cook multiple meats simultaneously
  • Added: "Flour". Crafted from seeds and sulphuric acid
  • Added: "Dough". Used to make Bread, Buns and Pizza
  • Added: "Pizza" + "Pizza Slice"
  • Added: "Omelette"
  • Added: Soups and soup pots
  • Added: Various meals
  • Added: New distiller recipes for fermented foods, distiller should have more uses
  • Added: Plant genetics and crossbreeding. Cross two fruits at a research station to obtain special seeds!
  • (WIP) Added: "Coffee". Reduces your tiredness if you have it enabled and helps to sober up. Can give you a caffeine rush
  • (WIP) Added: "Hot Chocolate". Increases your tiredness if you have it enabled, but also increases your mood and helps to sober up
  • Added Moloch Milking Tool
  • Added NPC conversations, some related to food traits, being hungry, thirsty...
  • Added 3 submarines with kitchen, courtesy of NotWendy


Other Changes:

  • Some food and drink items need to be eaten in a specific way (opening bottles, opening jars, eating with fork/spoon...). Involves using RMB+E or RMB+E or tapping RMB, might not be intuitive though.
  • Kitchen equipment sprites were changed to align with the counter when placed in-game. Old equipment might be offset as a result.
  • Machinery and planter pots use placement restrictions: cannot place these items in too close proximity to other items, can only be placed on the ground
  • Deconstructing meat no longer gives Alien blood
  • Plants are smaller and grow faster, but require more active watering and are more vulnerable to both flooding and fire
  • Watering can needs to be refilled in a sink or by inserting a bottle of water
  • Buffed some of the weaker Chef talents.
  • "Bladder", "Need to defecate", "Stomach Ache" and "Alcohol Withdrawal" can now cause your mood to worsen (Only with "Mood" enabled)
  • "Drunk" can now improve your mood (Only with "Mood" enabled)
  • "Drunk" can now make you tired (Only with "Tiredness" enabled)
  • "Cafeteria Cart" is no longer attachable. Its inventory is accessed by using the "Action" keybind (Default "E") to bring it more in line with other
  • New output for "Hydroponic Planter" to calculate the seconds until the next produce.
  • Garden Sprinkler cycle rate can be set manually
  • Rescaled burgers and hotdogs. They felt a bit oversized previously
  • Made empty cans spawn in or nearby outpost trash cans
  • "Hungry Europan" syringe gives you a starter 5 Cooking 5 Butchery
  • Removed "Starvation Conciousness Regainer" since you can just feed someone unconcious or use adrenaline
  • Removed the override for "Adrenaline" since the vanilla game now cures stun with it by default

Fixes:

  • Fixed "Pomegrenade Jam" recipe having a wrong identifier for pomegrenades, causing performance issues when trying to craft it
  • Fixed Refrigerators not being fireproof
  • Fixed: "Internal Burns" had wrong damage values and thus wouldn't actually cause any damage
  • Fixed: Puking from "Stomach Ache" didn't decrease the duration of some food buffs

- Changed the inventory icon of the outpost toilet variant so you can more easily identify which one to place in the sub-editor.
- Changed growable plant max sizes to be much smaller (about 3-5 branches) to make hydroponic rooms look less overgrown. Their size has no impact on their product yield.
- Changed "Gardening Sprinkler" to now require clean water as the planter plants are technically damaged by sea water.
- Fixed the outpost toilet item displaying the wrong description.
- Removed "Stimpy" related items and afflictions. It's now part of the "Deathwish - Companion Mod" since it was developed exclusively for that campaign before the companion mod became a thing.
