Being undead is no longer required for Undead Affinity (the gene that makes Zombieland zombies ignore you.

The only way to get the gene is from Ghouls and Returned though. Unless you just edit it into the game via F.ex. the Character Editor, that is.

Giant javelins for marginally more civilized jotun to chuck.

Comparable in damage to a Charge Lance, but available with Precision Rifling, which should make it accessible a bit earlier.
