Version 17 - Lightbringer class is updated to v90; Skill UI fix for Citizen class thanks to Phanjam

Viz' Intro:

This is a compilation of high quality custom classes made by various modders.

I was disappointed with the current class mod pack as they were either didn't include my favorite classes or their classes were outdated or buggy. Eventually I decided to learn about merging mods by my own.

Special thanks to gytfunke, Phanjam and doudley for sharing their modding knowledge that helped me to create this mod.

All credit goes to the respective author of the mods, but only some permission were granted.
I merely compile these mods together and fixed some bugs that were still exist.

Kindly drop by these authors' mod pages and rate their mod as a sign of appreciation for their work.

If any of the mod author wishes for their respective class to be removed, pm me and perhaps, we could discuss about it.

Other Features
  • Implemented new character creation UI. Credit to lolesch, taken from his neat UI mod.
  • Enabled every hairstyles/hair colors/faces option to all classes in this mod.
  • Also included Preacher Skin Add-on by Anarch16sync

Important Notes
  • Some of these classes are intended to be really powerful by their original authors and can clear the base game easily even at Elite/Hardcore difficulty. The use of difficulty mods like Synergies or LAO III are highly recommended.
  • Dark Hunter (originally from Noxmer/Darklite class mod) is removed due to being incomplete.
  • Warchief's old starting skill, Shockwave, is restored. Massive Swing is removed as a result.
  • Elemental Blade Dancer and Red Mage class are fully playable for Linux user, thanks to doudley's fix.
  • If you found any skills that either : crashes the game upon usage, has blank skill icon or missing their skill animation, please notify us. There could be a conflict between the skill and another mod that you use.

@ ken : Hmm... would take the same amount of work the original mod authors provided to fix the compatibility. The only steps I'm aware of although not related to this is how to make the General Passives mod function for any class detailed in this Guide: https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3261717337 To make Variant and Additional Classes function together however would take the knowledge of a modder - of whom most have retired or are dedicated to sigular projects.

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried the method you gave me and found that Variant and Addon To Additional Classes (v.80), as well as Additional Classes: Also install the Addon Edition, conflict with each other. How can I make these three mods compatible? I really don’t want to give up any of them because the classes in these mods are excellent. Could you please tell me how to make them work together?

I keep two links on my desktop. A link to the location of the save files, and a link to the location where I keep my backups. I put the backups in sequentially-numbered folders, and delete 2 of the extras after I've made 5 folders.

Best to just make a backup copy of your entire Modsave file. I make backups of the Save, Modsave and Mods files on a regular basis. (Sometimes the mods get changed or deleted in the Workshop so it's always good to keep backups of the Mod folder, along with the 2 save folders).

@ ken : Once the other mod that is not compatible has been found - choose one of the two mods to continue using in the Load Order to prevent further crashing.
If in need to try and save extra data like items and such while trying to remove characters from Mod-Binds - there's this mod that can salvage items in some situations - details on it's front page:

Do remember to Copy - Paste the Shared Stash / Stash files too - as they contain item data that can be saved in some cases (same folder as the Mod Character save files).

@ ken : Welcome. It could be - have to test it like this: First step is to Copy - Paste your mod character Saves (over to a separate location not affected by Steam Cloud or the game) from the Mod Save Folder located in Documents > My Games > Runic Games > Torchlight II folders.
That is a good step regardless as it protects saved progress in any scenario.
Most common next step is to delete the entire Mod Save Folder while the Game / Mod Launcher is open on screen (and remove the mods from the Load Order), after deletion - start then quit the game. This will remove all possible Mod-Binds that can also cause Crashes.
Afterwards try loading all chosen mods with this mod and see if it crashes again - if so, try loading this mod with another of the chosen mods - one-by-one (one at a time with this mod), a process of elimination - until you find which mod is causing the crash with this mod.

Hello, I am a player from China. After I subscribed to this mod, the game crashed when I started it. This may be a conflict with other mods I subscribed to. How can I make these mods compatible because I want to play more professions?

Hi mate, I am recently trying to fix some bug in other mods, and comes into some tags unmatch problem, and I notice that the mod I am working on involves some files of your mod.
I have already manage to fixing some hashcode matching, but there is still one tag might need some help from you here.
